A fantastic food flavour experience in Parry Sound, Ontario.

Dent Bay Baking Co. bakes a variety of savory and sweet items including several bread flavors (try the Danish rye with white flour dusting), croissant, blueberry/lemon scone, pretzels along with coffee and goodies.

A small table space for sitting otherwise most people are b-lining to their faves. We stood in line for fifteen minutes prior to their opening. Bakery hours are Thursday thru Sunday so plan ahead.

The quality of baking is astounding! The staff are energized and joyful.

Sean, one of the founders, was so kind to us as he offered us bread on a day the bakery was closed and we were passing through town.

I can't wait to return and find a new flavour.

Finally go to go to this bakery that I have been trying to go too and it was great! Quaint place with scratch made breads and pastries with flour from Ontario. Purchased croissants, scones, cookies and danishes!! Very, very good- will definitely be going back for more and highly recommend to try. That’s just one cookie- not multiples!!

Charming bakery on the corner of River and Bowes street in downtown Parry Sound. Upon entering the bakery my family and I were greeted with the pleasant smell of freshly baked scones, breads, croissants etc. There is inside and outside seating. Both options provide a beautiful view. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and kind. They are also prompt when preparing orders. You will find outside on the side of the store ice cream available, which is served starting at noon. In front of the store you will find 4 parking spots. My family and I purchased a loaf of bread, the cinnamon brioche and fougasse. Everything was so delicious and fresh.

By far the best bakery I’ve been to - the thoughtful sourcing of high quality heritage ingredients shows and the time and love poured into each loaf and baked good really shines. I’ve tried almost everything they make and you can’t go wrong! Everything is SO delicious. 100/10.

Stopped in here to pick up a snack on our way back south. The store is well laid out, beautifully presented, clean, modern, they have dedicated store parking. The breads are delicious and the fruit and nut loaf was out of this world. It's worth driving to Parry Sound just to eat a slice of it. Great spot!

A welcome addition to Parry Sound. It is a beautiful Bakery located downtown Parry Sound. I drove by on my way out of town before opening and there was quite a lineup. This is phenomenal to see!!! I swung by around noon and grabbed a cookie. They were sold out of most of their baked goods. I will be returning. Sooo excited!!!

Recently moved to Nobel, had heard about Dent Bay bakery, what a find, the scones are like no other, my go to is the morning bun, not sure how they do it, it's like paradise in your mouth. Incredible bakery, friendly staff, amazing aromas, get there early so as not to be disappointed. Awesome job Dent Bay, will be back

I am absolutely blown away by the delectable delights at this new bakery! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly baked goods enveloped me, promising an unforgettable experience.

The quality of their baked goods is unmatched. The croissants are buttery and perfectly layered, while the giant chocolate chip cookies cupcakes burst with flavor in every bite. Their artisanal bread – each loaf is a masterpiece, with a crisp crust that gives way to a soft and flavorful interior.

The staff here are not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about their products.

I'm also impressed with the attention to detail in their presentation. It's clear that the bakers put their heart and soul into every creation.

If you are coming to Parry Sound, Dent Bay Baking company is an absolute must-visit.
