We got our mini Aussiedoodle from here just over 2 years ago, and it was our first dog. He is a lovely and sweet boy but he was approx 6 months old when we got him, a bit older than typical and had been at the breeders longer than usual. We aren’t sure whether no one chose him or he was returned or what circumstances led to this. When we received him it was obvious he had never been bathed, with a filthy and matted coat and smelling strongly of urine, and he was terrified. He didn’t even know how to go up or down stairs at 6 months old, through doorways, etc., and was highly reactive to all other dogs while on his leash. We really didn’t know what to expect at the time as this was our first ever dog, but looking back now after a couple years it’s obvious he was not treated properly at the beginning stages of his life. Thankfully he is well loved now and he does have the best personality, very sweet, attentive, and full of energy. It took a lot of work to get him to where he is, and we have no regrets, but I would not get another puppy from here. I’m sure our experience does not speak for everyone, or even most, but I would be wary of getting an older puppy especially as you just don’t know what happens during those very important formative months.

When my husband and I decided we were ready to love another dog I found Designer Doodles and I'm so glad I did! Communication was excellent. I did hem and haw a bit as it's such a big decision. I was told that a 5 month old female goldendoodle was available as her home placement fell through. We thought it through and then we decided she was to be ours! From the moment we brought our Bailey home it's been a match made in heaven. She is super sweet, so fun and we love her to bits. She is now 19 months old. Great experience with this breeder! We were lucky enough to to adopt a pup who was an older puppy & available. Buckley (nee Whiskey) is 15 weeks old. He’s social with people & other dogs. He’s potty trained! He took to us immediately & had been a happy, calm, playful joy. We didn’t know what to except but expectations were exceeded! Sharon is lovely & it’s clear she really cares and enjoys what she does. Highly recommend!

The BEST breeder in BC! My friend and I bought mini-poodles from the same litter, brother and sister. They both are extremely smart, easy to train, and cute as heck! They even delivered them close to us, we only had to drive 10 minutes.The breeder had amazing communication even after we took them home, she was always available to answer questions. Designer Doodles lives up to their name. We both highly recommend Designer Doodles for your next fur baby!!
