I came in for a blonde highlights and I just don't understand how this salon isn't rated 5 stars. It had been a whole year since my hair had been done. I had dead ends and a gross yellow tinge (she had her work cut out for her) and the stylist completely transformed my hair to look healthy and beautifully blonde again. This was my first time using this salon but I'll definitely be a regular from here on out.

Got my hair done here twice so far. Amazing service. My stylist was great. She got my hair to the exact color I wanted even tho my hair was very badly miscolored and bleached when I came in. Definitely will come back. Have also gotten piercings done here. Fast, friendly, great experience. Will be back for more as well.

Kaitlyn at Designer Styles is AMAZING! I go to her for all of my services and have never had ANY issues. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell she cares about her clients wants and needs. She is knowledgeable on all of the products and always knows what to recommend for any concern I may have. She is also the ONLY person I have ever gone to that has been able to get my hair as PLATINUM BLONDE as I like. I even gave her an extra struggle of wanting the blonde to have some icy blue undertones and she saw my vision and it came out exactly how I was envisioning! I trust her fully with this service! This can be a tough service but I had no complaints. She went through everything in detail when it came to price as well as the type of process that would need to be followed as well as products for upkeep. I highly recommend her for any service as I have never left unsatisfied! ?

Kaitlyn at Designer Styles has totally destroyed my girlfriends hair with bleach. Poor customer service and quality for burnt, melted and fried hair. Didn’t even have time to style or tone her damaged hair as she was rushing her through the door as quick as possible but still charged her for it. All they care about is taking your money. Was offered no compensation or solution for burnt melted and severely damaged hair. Avoid Designer styles Humboldt.

Kaitlyn destroyed my hair. It is now burnt, fried and melted off. I am extremely upset with the result. My hair was left bright orange, extremely blotchy and severely damaged. She was cutting corners to get me out as soon as she could despite taking the time and doing what was right for my hair. Didn’t even have time to style my hair or tone it properly to get rid of the blotchiness but still charged me for it. I got ahold of the owner and was offered no compensation or any kind of solution for burnt, melted and severely damaged hair. Paid $500 by the end of it and was only told to buy a $100 bottle of olaplex to try and fix it. I am extremely disappointed and upset with their customer service. This is someone’s hair; it can greatly affect someone’s self image and self esteem. To act so careless is disgusting. I do not recommend designer styles in humboldt!

I got my daughters ears pierced here and they are AWESOME WITH KIDS!!! Yes it hurt but it was very quick. I pay very close attention to detail as I stated when I got there and the holes in the ears are PERFECTLY centered. Prices are really good and they check up on us regularly prior to our appointment!

Awesome business and amazing staff. They have every hair product you could want and they do pretty much everything. They have professional nail artists, makeup artists, hairdressers, they do pedicures, piercings, and more! They also have lots of awesome wall art and other cool things. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Best pedicures ever! Loved the atmosphere. The girls who did our pedicures were great! Loved the small perks that came with the service such as the nailpolish and footcare package we got to take home with us. The massage chairs were extremely comfortable and the overall experience was amazing. Thank you!
