HUGE thank you to Devon Dental Associates! Doctors are phenomenal, professional and caring. After numerous negative experiences at dentists, I was shocked at the incredible care. I have always dreaded and avoided the dentist, but actually look forward to my appointments here. I don’t feel judged, criticized or embarrassed about my teeth. I leave with very minimal discomfort and always feel great about how my appointments went. Staff are super friendly, informative and supportive. I am so grateful to have such an amazing clinic!

I recently moved back to Alberta and was on the hunt for a new dentist. With great reviews, this clinic seemed like the dental jackpot. Spoiler alert: it was more like dental purgatory.

When booking my appointment, I made it crystal clear that I didn’t want x-rays—just a simple cleaning. Upon arrival, I met Melissa, who started off friendly enough, explaining what she’d be doing, including (you guessed it) x-rays. I politely reminded her that I had already opted out of x-rays, but she immediately launched into a lecture that could rival a TED Talk, insisting my benefits covered them and why I absolutely needed them. Her tone quickly escalated to “Karen in line at Starbucks” levels of aggression, as though I’d punched her in the breast.

Things got awkward when I asked if she wanted me to leave—because at this point, I felt like a massive inconvenience to her day. She declined and said I could still get the cleaning, just no dentist check-up. Uh… perfect? That’s literally all I wanted. But instead of just moving on, she left the room and returned for Round 2 of her "Why You Need X-Rays" manifesto. At that point, I was ready to yeet myself out of there.

When I asked about rescheduling the cleaning, she took me to the front desk like I was a disobedient child being marched to the principal’s office. The receptionist informed me of a cancellation fee which I was willing to pay to never have to deal with this clinic ever again. At this point the front desk gal waived it and let me leave.

TL;DR: If you’re looking for a clean clinic staffed by people who treat you like you set their car on fire, this is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear.

Went in for cleaning and dentist said that he’d like to take X-rays because it helps him with the cleaning but I wouldn’t be charged for them.
When finished they asked if I’d like a receipt and I said yes. When I got home I looked at receipt and was charged for all the X-rays and even charged twice for the same one. Called them and they wouldn’t honour the dentist saying he wouldn’t charge and told me they could only refund what they double charged me for.
GO TO AN HONEST DENTIST!

Dr. Konrad Lehman was the best dentist I have ever had. He addressed a major medical issue in my jaw that came from X-rays from another clinic that was not mentioned and was from chronic pain I had for over 18 years and and have brought up with dentists and doctors before. He provided me with a referral to the specialist that I have been waiting to see all that time but I had never got a referral. The hygienists were so amazing and kind and the best team I have seen too!

Dr. Lavoie and her sidekick Hunter are the absolute best. Made what could have been a real painful appointment efficient and smooth. The ladies at the front desk are also super helpful 👌🏻

I went in for a filling and had my Lingual nerve poked.. I lost feeling of the right side of my face for about 9 months.
Think about getting freezing for a filling that stays for 2 thirds of a year.
Had to relearn to eat most food so I didn't bite my cheeks and toungue.. stopped eating many things cause I would bite myself unknowingly and bleed all over my food or in my drink.
It's definitely given me a life long complex dealing with dentist.

I went In mild pain in a tooth that only happened occasionally. They told me I needed a root canal ASAP! This didn’t sit right with me as the pain wasn’t constant nor intense. I went and got a second opinion at Stony Plain Dental and it turns out NO ROOT CANAL NEEDED! The dentist was appalled Devon Dental Associates would even suggest that to me. I just needed a simple filling that did not even require numbing.

Friendly, welcoming and professional Dental care. They strive to make your visit comfortable. I could hear them work with children to make it a fun and Interactive visit. For myself, as I am nervous of dentists, they used a dental dam which increase my comfort immensely. I definitely recommend this office.
