My first time trying brisket,... and I desperately hope there is more to brisket than what that was!!!! Tasteless and drier than a popcorn fart... plus very little meat for a 2 meat dish. It had a really light crust, and very little smoke flavor. Fries and sides were awesome, but I went there for the brisket, not the sides. Will give it one more try. Maybe.... no hopefully, that was a one time thing!!

Sandwich was very good. The potato was disappointing it was barely warm and nothing melted on it cheese or butter. We sent one back and the second one was the same . Really needed to be hotter and under the broiler for a few minutes. Then the meal would have been very good .

We drove to Taber from Medicine Hat today just to try Dickey’s for our very first time! It was delicious!! Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

really disappointing considering the reviews. we did take out this afternoon. a two meat platter (brisket, ribs) and a loaded baked potato. we were on a roadie so by the time we got to look in the bag, we were already well down the highway. decent sized rib but dry and kind of chewy. add to that, no sour cream for the baked potato was a big downer considering its like $12. made for a pretty dry baked potato experience. the biggest disappointment was that there were only 3 very small and really dry pieces of brisket (maybe 3oz of meat). pretty choked actually. was almost $40 with tip. otherwise, service was good and the place was clean.

Just ate there, was soooo delicious. Brisket turkey, homemade baked beans and cabbage salad, hubby said best French fries ever. All wonderful. Owner was such a great friendly, organized young man. Can't wait to go there again.

This was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time potatoes cooked to perfection brisket out of this world and the service was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back.

James is great, always confident when he makes my food Gluten free, very reassuring.
Great food for the family. Worth the 20 minute drive, depending on who's working.
Brisket is super tasty, pulled pork is good. Gonna have to step out of my comfort zone and try more dishes.

Got the 2 meat plate. The turkey was tender and delicious, the brisket was a bit dry but fell apart to the touch, and the original bbq sauce more than made up for it. The jalapeño baked beans were tasty, too. Could have been a bit spicier; I also really enjoyed the coleslaw. Just the right amount of tang! Ordered delivery and it arrived very quickly. All in all very good!
