This is my happy place. We always make a point to stop here on our way to Edmonton from Calgary, which is frequent.

Everything here is thoughtfully curated, unique and quality. Most items have an interesting story, and are imported from Portugal/Europe. If you’re a fan of neutral home decor, this place is heaven. The owner has fantastic taste, super sweet, and provides wonderful advice if you need some help or ideas.

The pieces I’ve purchased so far, are timeless and I still love as much as I did on day one. I receive so many compliments.

Every time I’m here, I just want to buy the entire store. I hope one day, I’ll be in a position to hire Hannah to design and decorate my home. Life goals.

Downton and Company is a hidden Gem in down town Lacombe, Alberta. You will not be disappointed to take a drive and browse store. Always greeted with a friendly smile and if lucky a dog. Exceptional service, quality articles from small to large which are well sourced. Downton & Company offers more than just articles in store.....check it out. So grateful for this hidden Gem!!

Exceptional service and fair prices for high quality, beautiful furnishings and materials. Hannah was able to source AND ship my dream (hand-painted terra cotta) tiles from the manufacturer in Arizona to my front door in North Vancouver, Canada for less than 2/3 of the cost of purchase here (including the difference in exchange rates, border fees, etc.) They arrived on schedule, without a single broken tile. I'm extremely pleased to have found this secret gem in Lacombe, Alberta!
