Its a total scam. I needed a crown replaced. They booked the appointment so late even though i needed the crown replaced fast. They charged me 75 dollars for nothing and didn't call me to remind me of the appointment. Then when they did call me about it, hung up on me. When i asked to reschedule Butera refused to reschedule. It is a total scam. No one even called me to remind me. Avoid at all costs. Go to a real dentist that will actually care.

Lovely and professional environment. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Very clean facilities which follow strict covid protocol. Dr Butera was friendly and knowledgeable. Advanced technology allowed me to view my x ray while seated comfortably in the dentist seat. I was immediately comfortable and at ease. Will definitely make him my Dentist! Thanks Dr Butera and staff for a great first experience?

Dr Butera seems to care more about volume over patient care. Recently had a full upper set of dentures , they fit terrible at first and thought it was because of swelling from tooth extraction. That was 6 months ago. Nurmous visits have not solved the fit problem. Now today I had another visit he did his usual soft lining and left his helper to finish things,I said it didn't fit right and hurt to the helper she said she would get him.

After 10 minutes he popped his head in and said he would be back in 5. I left 17 minutes later.

He overbooked again.

Told receptionist to have him call me when he has time to do the job right

I just recently returned to the dentist for my routine check-up and cleaning. This was my first appointment during the pandemic. And it went extremely smoothly! My temperature was taken upon entry and my hygienist, Damarra (hope I spelled her name right!), took me to the operatory. She explained all the potential COVID-related risks, had me sign a document acknowledging them and answered all my questions. At no point did I feel unsafe about being in the dental chair. Plus, Damarra was friendly, gentle, and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Then Dr. Butera greeted me, checked out my smile and told me all is well. All staff were wearing appropriate PPE during my visit. I'll be back!

David Butera has two sides. The one is polite and attentive (When things are going OK); The other side of him is arrogant and unwilling to admit to his mistakes. This is the side you will see when he is challenged about his dental work.
Mr. Butera placed a new crown over one of my teeth that had already been crowned. I had no symptoms of pain in the existing tooth. This was an expensive process and after the dental procedure had been performed, I began to experience increasing pain from that tooth.
Mr. Butera put me off saying that the pain would eventually settle down but it didn't.
After x raying the tooth again he determined that it needed a root canal and that I would have to go to a surgeon to repair the problem at a cost of between $2000.00 - $3000.00.
He would not accept any responsibility for missing the obvious fact that the tooth required a root canal before placement of the new crown.
Reluctantly, I took the matter to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and after a full investigation, concluded that Mr. Butera was in the wrong.
Mr. Butera is now fulfilling a two year remedial course in light of the College's findings.

Hands down the best dentist I've had in Ontario. Highly recommended to people who are anxious about the dentist, needles, or operations, in general.

This dentist is a goof! Don't go there, I paid $$$$ for nothing and still have the same problems as before! He's not a good dentist and that is why I went back to my old dentist in Mississauga!!!!
