We had a several quotes for our solar installation and did research online. What set Empower apart was the level of knowledge and quiet confidence speaking with Terry. I had questions about the Greener Homes Loan and Grant with the possibility of charging our EV. Terry spoke with our city engineering department and helped answer theirs and my questions. Ultimately they sized the package for our best usage. Terry and the team are always on time, and took pride in displaying the panels, equipment and mounting racking with the benefits and features of each. Drake, Ben and Sage are Journeyman Electricians or apprentices and take great pride in doing the best work possible. Every detail is planned for the best fit and finish, and they work as a team. All the panels and equipment were handled carefully and cables were fed, pulled, and routed to prevent damage. The entrance conduit and soffit to attic access were done cleanly with good access for cable routing inside. It was interesting to learn all I did from them for both equipment installation and installing and using the monitoring app. They cleaned up and sorted materials for our recycling program leaving things better than they found them. Terry and our City Inspector
met on site to determine the best placement of a safety isolation switch, the preferred method for labeling, and worked together to ensure every requirement was met. Different jurisdictions may have their specific requirements our Inspector was very helpful in doing a final inspection as soon as he had an opportunity as we had a small trip planned. We couldn't be happier with the team, the installation, and prior and ongoing communication. I have the utmost respect for their work ethic, team focus, and pride in workmanship!

From our first meeting until the moment we flipped the switch on our impressive solar panel system Terry and his Empower Energy crew went above and beyond in service, knowledge and professionalism. Terry and his team from Empower Energy were very professional in all they touched from ensuring the design was acceptable to the power company (line owner) to total installation. Before anything was attached to my roof the entire system was drawn out in chalk, prior to securing any components measurements were taken and reconfirmed to ensure accuracy. The inverters and cabling were neatly secured to the main rails before any solar panels were placed. Once the panels were secured, the system was commissioned ensuring everything was operating as intended. My overall experience was very positive and would recommend to anyone looking to have a solar panel system installed to reach out to Empower Energy.

Empower Energy provided a 20kW AC ground mount Solar Array and inverter system for our residence in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Terry and his team did a fantastic job.

As this was one of the first residential ground mount systems of this size in Medicine Hat there were many additional requests from the City. Terry and his team was patient and coordinated the information gathering required by the city.

The actual installation was clock work from staging of material to final building inspection.

The guys ensured the 3 arrays consisting of 48 individuals panels were perfectly aligned and within a 1/4 of inch tolerance.
