We have been contacting Charan Property Management daily for over a week regarding the constant sound of running water in our apartment. This has significantly disrupted the peace and quiet in our home.
The company sent someone out to inspect the issue, but they arrived over an hour late for the scheduled appointment. This was extremely inconvenient, as we had to take extra time off work to accommodate them. To make matters worse, there has been no meaningful follow-up. The only information we received was that the noise is coming from the apartment above us.
Considering that water is continuously running, this could be a serious issue with the potential for property damage or financial loss. You would expect a property management company to treat this as a priority, but instead, we’ve been left with no clear answers or solutions. Each time we call, it feels like the office staff have no idea what’s going on or how to resolve the situation.
At this point, it’s hard to tell if Charan Property Management is unwilling to take this issue seriously, or if their office staff simply do not want to do their jobs. Either way, the lack of urgency and professionalism is very disappointing.

EDIT: Two weeks later, the issue has been solved. There is peace and quiet in the building. +1 star

Charan helped us find our first home, a condo. Most of our experience was directly with Annette, and we only have positive things to say about our experience. She clearly knows every step of the home-buying process, whether it’s for a personal home or an investment.

From the beginning, she took the time to understand our real needs and limitations. She was clear and direct at every stage, with nothing to hide, no surprise ever. Annette was always attentive, fully invested, and supportive throughout.

She truly listened—whether we had questions, concerns, or even if went changed our minds midway through the process, she remained open and focused on helping us achieve our dream. Her support was with us from the very beginning all the way until we had the keys in hand. Always professional until the very end. The other staff at Charan, we didn’t talk face-to-face but the moments we interacted they always showed professionalism and interest in helping. They were always clear and responded promptly on each step.

Now, a couple of weeks after our purchase, we’re happy in our new home. We’re truly grateful for the experience and would recommend her without hesitation. Thanks for your support and all the great energy every person at Charan brought.

Dont expect to be able to get ahold of this place, never answer phones, emails or any form of communication. Stay away.
Quite possibly the worst property management company in existence. Extremely invasive practices even for owners of condominiums they manage. Forceable entry to units against owner will, fines if you don't comply. They require you to use THEIR masterkey, and if your lock is not keyed to their masterkey, insist on charging you $250+ for a new lock, but don’t allow you to use your own company for this. This company is an absolute waste of time/money. No respect for peoples personal privacy. As someone who has owned a condo managed by charan for years. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

UPDATE: Charan's reply to this review is ironic, and proves how little they know about the properties they manage. I've requested MULTIPLE times that they provide me with evidence of the rules they are trying to enforce, and not once received anything from them. Not only this but I went and reviewed the bylaws myself, there is nothing in these bylaws that support their claims. They clearly just make up rules and tell their customers that they exist while just hoping that nobody has the time to check if these bylaws actually exist. I reiterate; STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If i knew what i know now, i would never have bought a property managed by these scammers.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. We have had a burnt garage bin for over 5 months not replaced, I’ve found multiple wild animals in our building hallways, bats, pigeons, cats. I once walked out and a homeless man was sleeping in the stair well. Nothing is ever cleaned. They blame every tenant for issue they haven’t dealt with. I have a blind family member and the emergency lights have been on low battery for over 6 months. We have complained that people are driving into the grass areas over the sidewalk and they are doing nothing about when I have a blind family member not able to leave their own home out of fear of safety. The hot water is off every 2 weeks and then they try to charge me saying it’s an emergency problem with my condo when all the neighbors have no hot water either. They tried to say they will send me the bill for a plumber when I called after office hours to report no hot water for the whole building. They hung up on me and blocked me when I questioned them about it. I’ve never seen such an unprofessional and disgraceful business.

I have been having a problem with water flowing out of a building communal pipe for over a year. I called Charan a number of times in a desperate attempt to help me with this problem because I didn’t know what to do. One evening a guy came out, said that ice was blocking my line and proceeded to the floor below mine to set up a heater. This proved to be helpful and my line drained. Then Charan had the gall to blame me and send me a bill for work that wasn’t done by a plumber they sent out. They could have helped me solve this ongoing problem but instead chose to harass me and threaten me with a lien to my property. They also tried to trick me into paying by claiming that I hadn’t been paying my condo fees, which I had. These tyrants aren’t sympathetic or cooperative. I was hoping to work this out with them, but they chose to bully me instead. They are a disgraceful company.

Absolutely the worst condo manager ever. Have been going on 3 months of them ignoring my emails over a simple buzzer issue. I've been blocked by the workers they hire to do work in the condo- they took my window screen and refused to replace and just blocked my phone number when I tried to get it back. I could go on and on, but literally your property is better managed by ~*your trust and faith in the lord~* then charan property management.

I found my experience living in one of Charan Property Management apartments was very pleasant. Things were fixed on a timely manner if needed and also I found that if there were any issues it was dealt with immediately. Wonderful people to deal with in the office.

Thank you so much Trina! Our lock was hooped and Trina sent someone over first thing in the morning to replace it! She was so accommodating and efficient. Appreciate her quick response and her willingness to take charge and get it done asap!
