File right took care of our taxes in 2021. it was our 1st time filing taxes after starting a new business. The atmosphere was very welcoming when we came in to speak with Sandy, the receptionist was lovely and we even got to play with the greeting dog that was there. There was a lot we did not know and Sandy was very patient with us explaining everything, she even had to repeat herself a few times and make it simpler so we did understand. We were able to email or call her anytime to ask a question and she was more than happy to help. This year we are filing with her again and a few things we didn't do right but she is being patient and working with us through it and also explaining what to do for next year, So we don't have any more errors.
We are very happy we found her and will continue to use this service for years to come. Fully recommend!

I went to File-Rite in the spring of 2022 to hire them to file my personal tax return.
They know, as they did my tax return, that I am on CPP disability and LTD. I called File-Rite in August 2022 to ask about my surprise notice from RCA stating I owed money. I talked to Sandy Hope who filed my return and I asked her about the notice. Sandy rudely went above and beyond to make me feel foolish for my questions. Sandy let me know that CPP is taxable and that would be a good thing for me to think about.
Sandy extremely unprofessional behavior had me embarrassed and she did her best to belittle me; this however, said alot about who she is as a person and alot about File-Rite who chooses to employ her.
I seeked further help from a chartered accountant who professionally explained to me that the monies I owed I had paid in the spring. He further explained that CRA sent this quarterly installment notice as a prepayment plan for the taxes I may owe in the following taxation year. He kindly explained that my CPP is taxable and they don't automatically withhold taxes.
He left my dignity intact explaining this to me as I didn't understand.
I strongly do not recommend File-Rite to anyone who may be ignorant to CRA rules. File-Rite has proven to me they are not a service for the basic public.
Sandy is not an asset to File-Rite or to those who choose to do business there.

Terrible customer service!! Took almost 2 months to have an Hst housing rebate completed. Upon review of these people’s work, I discovered a HUGE error on their part, which would have been submitted to CRA should I not have caught it. All they did was push back when questioned about it. Paid these people an astronomical amount for nothing but mistakes and the worst customer service!! DO NOT trust these people with your finances.

I have had my taxes processed by FileRite for many years now. The service and help has been really great. My entire family will be using filerite again this coming tax season.

Used to have h&r block,last year gave file rite a go,should have gone to them long time ago,more personal experience, they seem to care about their customers.

Do not use file-rite book keeping . They do not do taxes correctly and then when you get audited you have to pay . Very unfriendly when ever you contact them they never answer emails or the phone . Not helpful at all !!
