Flying Stone Canada has the most Respectful, compassionate, kind staff with Excellent support Services 24/7. Anytime I needed any help concerning my apartment, I would just contact Jordan and he supported me in a timely manner.

they are amazing to rent with, I was with them for about 2 years and i never had an issue. their communication is also really good. they always respond in a very timely method usually within minutes so you’re not having to wait. They also work with you if you ever need anything or if you’re going to be away but the building needs access for whatever reason they are able to be there to let them in. Overall my experience has be amazing and if i didnt have to move for school i definitely would have re-signed my lease 🙂

I have been renting with these guys for 4 yrs and have had nothing but a great experience. The only reason I am moving is due to work. The rent is a fantastic price for what you get and the staff is extremely a joy to work with. To add to this review: almost 3 years later as we have been in the home for 6 years coming up. The service is still as great as ever, we have not had many issues but any that we have are always addressed as soon as possible. Everyone from the office staff to the maintenance are friendly, professional and just great to deal with.

I have been a tenant with Flying Stone Canada for almost three years now. Their very professional, helpful and have dealt with any issues that we have had promptly and professionally. Most of my experience renting with them was alright. Not great, but manageable.

Later on, they sprung a surprise on me and asked me to transfer my lease to another building. I agreed and moved. The next building ended up being considerably worse while I kept paying the same rent. I spoke to them about several problems with the new place: sink, tub, door, keys, deliveries, and carpet. They agreed to fix some, but not all. They said I could give notice and leave if I wasn’t satisfied. I decided to take them up on their offer. After leaving, they decided to make up a damage report and withhold my security deposit. They also tried to charge me an illegal lease-breaking fine. I ended up filing a case with the RTDRS and got an order for them to pay back my deposit plus damages.

It seems that from the other reviews here, they are not always terrible. That tallies with the first half of my experience. However, if you try to get out of your lease legally and with cause, they will try to punish you. Consider all this before you rent with them. There are much better options out there. Also, I get the sense that they’re doing some things incorrectly here. For example, their self-move-in/move-out checklist is not a valid legal document. It is a breach of the law for them to make you do it yourself or withhold your deposit without doing the move-in and move-out report with you. Read the Residential Tenancies Act or speak to a lawyer, if you have a problem with them.

We lived in a Flying Stone rental for the last 6 years. All of our experiences with Tom and his team have been extremely positive. A good landlord is so important and I cannot say enough about the philosophy of management and the care we have received from this team. I HIGHLY recommend living in a Flying Stone property and we only moved on because we moved out of province.

Everything Tom and team does is automated and efficient making each step of the move-in, move-out, maintenance and any issues so very easy. Excellent start to finish! We sincerely thank you for taking such good care of us and our family over the last 6 years!
