I had a great experience getting the tires changed on my work trailer here. They got me in and out quickly, which I really appreciated. The staff was knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. It was clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers. Overall, solid service, and I’d definitely go back.

I am in red deer and have come here for 2 years. Store my tires. But I heard a story that the owner lent his truck to a random women. Now that's nice. That makes me think this place cares and I made a good choice. Service is great.

Fountain Tire Ponoka is the Best tire/maintenance shop i've ever been to. Took my truck in for an oil change, battery swap, realignment and a once over the vehicle before winter comes. They were fast, efficient, polite and professional. They didn't try to up sell me on anything and gave me advice on when some of my up coming services should be done.
Overall 10/10 and will be taking all my vehicles there from now on.

Sadly, no accountability.

My dad and I bought a F450 at auction. First drive and the shake was absolutely unbearable. So, I called and made an appt, (I was on Vancouver Island at the time and didn't have a chance to drive it). My dad brought it in with a request to look for a wheel/tire or driveline issue. The report back was mud in the duallys, which was an easy fix. Though I had requested all 6 wheels, (4 Alum and 2 steel), be static balanced, (get rid of the beads in the rear Alum duallys. They balanced them. Days later I arrived in town to put the truck into service for my business. I loaded up and drove straight back out to Vancouver Island. I put 2200kms on it, with and without a trailer and the entire time the truck shook quite bad.

So, while in Parksville on Van Isle, I brought to Integra Tire, (my tire guy I've been dealing with for a decade), and he started to balance my duallys. First one he did was out 4 ounces, (outside dually). I then called Collin at Ponoka Fountain Tire and explained the situation. He stated he "watched the tire tech the entire time" he worked on my wheels and "it was done properly", but the only way to warranty was to take to another local Fountain Tire. So I begged Fountain Tire Courtenay, and they squeezed me in.

Arrived 4.5hrs later and Becky checked me in at the Courtenay, BC location. Within about 20 mins the awesome tire tech comes to Mike the manager, Becky the advisor and myself to inform us both steel inner duallys had zero weights on them. What? Year right. Well, it was true. One of them took 11 ounces. A lot!! But still way out of balance. They redid all 6. They were ALL out of balance, and by a lot! No wonder my truck was shaking. The crew at the Courtenay location were amazing!!! And in shock I was charged $300 by the Ponoks location for poorly balancing 4 of the 6 requested wheels.

After the appt I called Collin to update him on what was done and found. Zero apology. Zero cares. Stated the weights on BOTH inner duallys must have fallen off, (not a chance and if they did, then the hammer on weights were not installed correctly). He continued with "I watched to make sure the tech did it correctly". Then you both failed. Zero accountability, poor customer service.

So, thank you to Fountain Tire Courtenay, BC and their amazing crew. Sadly, I had to waste 4 hours of my day because Fountain Tire Ponoka, AB clearly have zero cares, or a clue on what they are doing with plenty of excuses.

My truck now rides smooth like it should.

The service here is definitely worth a review. Tyler and Derek are extremley helpful, patient, and professional. Thank you also to the mechanics that did an excellent job on my vehicle. My vehicle had a bad run this year and Fountain Tire was my go to. I trusted them immediately thanks to their professionalism. I was not disappointed at all anytime I've had to take my SUV in for repairs or tires. What I appreciated the most was that they gave me options and true opinions when it came down to parts and prices.
I Highly recommend this business!

We live near Gull Lake and make the trip to Fountain Tire in Ponoka, always. Whether it be for new tires, a wheel alignment etc. Colin always takes care of whatever it is we need, quickly. The team at FT Ponoka is top notch and worth the drive! Thanks Colin!
