L’une des plus belle experience de ma vie, Daren un Mr joviale vraiment gentille et ouvert nous a pris pour un tour en bateau avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et nous avons attrapé plein de poissons aussi. Merci Daren, thanks coks cove, see you soon

I researched many places to have my first ever cod fishing experience. When travelling to Western Newfoundland, I wanted an authentic experience, fishing from a dory with a local (not a charter or large tour boat). My group and I hit the jackpot with Darren. He was such a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to be outside and fishing. He put us onto fish immediately and we fortunate enough to have many with double- and triple-headers. We caught our quota of cod, several mackerel, and even caught one sculpin and an Atlantic wolffish (scary looking). Throughout the fishing experience, Darren told us stories, taught us local geology, and showed us local wildlife (eagles). He was a great communicator when booking the tour (several months beforehand) and a few days before the tour when confirming. He even went out of his way to help us find last-minute accommodations when our other accommodations fell through less than 3 days before our trip (our group was coming from Ontario and Alberta). In summary, Darren is a top-notch guy and cod fishing guide. Without hesitation, I would book a cod fishing experience with him again and I would recommend him to host your tour. Thank you Darren for creating such a wonderful memory.

This is our second year in a row fishing with Darren, I won't say he's the sole reason we came back this year, but if this was the only thing we did the entire time we would have been happy. Darren always has a story for you and listening to him talk about the area will make you fall in love with it just as much as he is.
He knows where the fish are and he is a wealth of knowledge, about the fish and the area.
If you come to Newfoundland and only do one thing, make sure it's this. It is well worth it and we will be back.

Darren’s Four Seasons Tours is awesome. Fantastic scenery that rivals Gros Morne. Darren is a great example of Newfoundland hospitality, friendliness and authenticity. Very knowledgeable and his love of this special area is evident. He cooked up some seafood samples for us too. Next trip to Newfoundland I’ll be booking with him again !

One hour drive from deer lake to Cox’s Cove. All the way along is beautiful. A Very quiet and peaceful small town. We got 11 mackerels on the morning trip. Pretty lucky! The first time I have ever got a fish! Beautiful scenery.

A great experience. Darren is awesome. So knowledgeable about the area and was able to provide our group with an amazing experience. The Cod fishing is so much fun and we got a great close up experience with bald eagles. I recommend putting a tour with Darren as a must do on your Newfoundland To-do list!

Darren was an awesome guide and we had an incredible fishing experience on Cox's Cove, Nfld. One of our best memories of Newfoundland was in his dory. We had a great cod feed with our catch and loved seeing the eagles up close as well.

Had a great time out cod jigging out off of cox's cove about a 40 minute drive out from Corner Brook. We even got to see a couple of bald eagles on our trip. First time using a fishing rod jigging cod as I had previously used the more traditional hand line. We managed to get a few meals of fish which Darren our guide fileted on the shore. The boat was a Dory which can accommodate 4 other passengers along with Darren. Highly recommend these tours if you are looking for something to do in the Corner Brook area. Thanks Darren.
