This company is a complete scam!! They called us to tell us that they work with the CRA in helping small businesses get grants and that we are eligible because we manufacture products in Canada. They explained they would handle the application for us for a percentage of the grant money, and we can claim 2 years of our financials. After a lot of back and forth we sadly decided to go for it. I sent them our financials, told them about our business and then was told the CRA would contact us for a review. We were never provided the financial breakdown that they gave the CRA, only 1 page that we needed to sign. After a 3 hour phone call with the CRA it was deemed that we were not eligible. We thanked the CRA and said that is fine, we are a very busy small business and don't have time for this anyways. Two months after our call we got a letter from the CRA stating we are being non compliant and owe them 27,000!!!!! I immediately called SRULL at Franklin and he said we made the mistake because we didn't call them before the CRA meeting as they would have coached us on how to answer their questions. It has been a complete nightmare as now I have to deal with the CRA and provide them all this financial information that I don't even know how Franklin came up with:(( STAY AWAY IF THEY CALL YOU!! Do not fall into their trap.

Franklin cold called us saying they had gotten our name from the Chamber of Commerce (doubtful). We hired them to complete SR&ED applications on our behalf as they assured us we were eligible. Their application writing skills were terrible, I had to rewrite them myself so they made any kind of sense. They were slow, unresponsive and unhelpful. Our application was denied and Franklin wasted so much of our time. They did not know what they were doing, made fundamental mistakes in the application and should have known from the initial meeting with us that we would not be eligible. Stay Away!!!!

Oren and team reached out to us as they found our business to be eligible for SRED. At first i was skeptical just like most would be. But one thing i've learnt is to not be too quick to judge and do your research.

FCG filed my application in due time and it helped my claim get approved and receive a very generous SRED credit from the CRA.

Excited to work with them for the foreseeable future.

Gigantic waste of my time. They should have known from the beginning we would not have been eligible for SRED, but they led me on the whole time. In key meeting with the govt, Srull was totally absent and left me hanging out to dry with no support, even though he had dialed in to the call and should have been there.

This company does not have a clue what they are doing.

I just sat through the most embarrassing 2 HOUR tongue lashing from the CRA and SR&ED on how abysmal our application was and how Franklin botched our claim.

The agent from Franklin, who was on the line, had the most pitiful and useless excuses.

Good news, we weren't considered a fraudulent claim and won't be going to jail.

Avoid this company at all costs.

They don't charge anything unless we get paid so it was worth the time and effort spent into putting the claim together with them. They guided us through from the beginning, knows what they are doing. As long as you know about the project or research your company did well enough they can make it work. They knew what the program was looking for and tried their best to claim as much as possible for us.

Looks like I'm not the only one getting spam calls from this shady business (see review from Albert Lai): Watch out for Rajat (and maybe others?).

Back in August he somehow got a hold of my personal cell # and called me saying he could get me "government incentives" through SRED. I told him I didn't have time to talk, but he could send me more information via email.

Today he called my personal cell # again, interrupting me during a meeting. Shortly after I responded, "Sorry, I'm not interested, thanks!" and hung up, he TEXTED ME to say, that I am "very unprofessional" for "making (him) send an agreement and then ghosting (him)", and that I should, "Grow up bud".

I guess he still had an axe to grind, so he left my business a 1-Star review!

I would NEVER trust a company that allows this sort of malicious behaviour from its employees.

This is a note for management.

You guys sell a B2B service with tech clients for high end services to serve decision makers.

Tech folks, I'm sure as you know, hate spam calls even more than the average person.

Yet you think its a good idea to have folks cold call a CEO of a tech company, literally DAILY?!?!?!

You guys literally called me on my phone COUNTLESS TIMES daily.

You really think that countless cold calls are going to lead to a good outcome?

Perhaps the redeeming thing was at least the lady that called me seemed nice, and I was able to find out that it was a spam call within a matter of a few seconds and I was able to cut our call short quickly so I can save time to write this to make sure you and your team realize this is probably literally the worst marketing experience I've had with a "professional" services firm.
