One could spend hours in this store.
It has so many fun games, parts, knick knacks for birthday/Christmas gifts...amazing things one wouldn't think of!

Edit...I had forgotten about the $1k air hockey table I purchased from Games Galore. When their installers were setting it up, it was missing several pieces. It was like pulling teeth to get GG to stand up and provide the pieces...they were adamant it wasn't their responsibility. If it wasn't for their installers pushing GG, I would have been SOL.

I have spent over $10k at Games Galore over the past few years with no issues and have recommended them to several people...that is over now due to a recent experience.

I have moved a couple of times and have asked GG about having my pool table moved. One guy they used never contacted me, the second time, GG didn't have an installer and the third time, the guys were awesome.

My issue is the guys took less than an hour to fix my table after my last move, but GG charged me $430 for the hour! When I booked them, I was told that would be a maximum if the job turned out to be difficult...it wasn't difficult and GG refused to even discuss this unfair amount. I think this is disrespectful and a bad business practice to take advantage of a loyal customer...it speaks volumes about their lack of integrity. $430/hr for labour is ridiculous.

This shop should be renamed to, Rude & limited knowledge staff with a few over priced games. This place doesn't offer a hole lot of games, And what they do have is $20-$30 over the RMSP of the manufacturer website, some of the boxes were damaged ( I'm sure in shipping ) but the price was still high. The staff treat you like cattle and usher you out as fast as they can. ( we get it "Rona" ) but it's no reason to be snippy to customers. I'm an avid board gamer involved with a large community that picks up new games every quarter, with the average expense of $500+, in the last year we have purchased over $2500 in board games off Amazon. We have decided to try and support local this time and pick up our games here...... big mistake!! The staff couldn't ancer any questions about the games! All I could get was " I have hurd it's good" we understand that not every one knows everything about games but that's what you sell.... you should know something about one of the 4 games I was looking at!! I resumed read the box when I over hurd one of the staff mutter a slur about a customers I.Q...!!!! I placed the box on the shelf and exited the shop as fast as I could. After that I drove over to showcase comics where I was greeted as an equal and shown a massive collection of games priced on par with online shopping! I purchased gloomhaven, folklore, tavern of tiefenthal, and I'm on my way back to pick up Decent and unformitabul. $700+ in games !!!! Long and short, DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!!! Ordered dart flight punch , from their store before Christmas, as they had none in stock. Still waiting as of the 26th of January. I do realize that issues with suppliers may arise, but was able to order same punch from Amazon for less money and had it in my hands 2 days later. In addition to this they are very very lacking in good quality Harrows flights, and Dimplex flights. Lots and lots of very poor quality flights, that real dart players are never going to buy. Prices are also quite high for what dart supplies they do have. Disappointed in Sparwood 😡
