The space is beautiful and the resources abundant. At the computers were two senior ladies loudly discussing a legal court case for over an hour while I was trying to work. Now I’m not of the old school mindset that a library must be absolutely silent, but these two were shouting, personal information. Having a very heated discussion. It was over the top loud. Then some teenagers came in and were yelling and fooling around way too loud as well. This really took away from the atmosphere and made it difficult to complete work.

I am writing to express my deep and heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional leadership and vision of our Haliburton County Library CEO, Ms. Andrea Brown, who is responsible for managing and under her guidance a total of 8 libraries in our County of Haliburton, located in *Dorset, Dysart, Stanhope, Minden, Highland Grove, Cardiff, Gooderham, and Wilberforce*.

Under her guidance, our libraries have become vibrant community hubs, fostering learning, connection, innovation, *technology, and digital inclusivity*. Ms. Brown's ability to manage her staff members and all the the eight branches seamlessly is a testament to her *exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence*. Her approachability and passion for public service make her an *invaluable asset to our community*.

Ms. Brown's leadership style *inspires and empowers her staff*, and her enthusiasm is contagious, inspiring staff and patrons alike. The library staff members, led by Ms. Brown, provide *outstanding support beyond traditional library services*, patiently assisting with technical issues, helping patrons navigate cell phones, desktops, iPads and much more. *This dedication to digital inclusivity is truly commendable*.

I personally have heard numerous testimonials from her staff members, who are *unanimously proud to have her as their leader*. She is *a transformative leader who has made a profound impact* on our County.

Please recognize Ms. Browns outstanding contributions to our Library System. Her leadership has made a *tangible and lasting difference* in the lives of Haliburton County residents.

This library has everything a reader could ask for, especially this rural. Their online selection is huge, which is perfect for those winter months where you just can't bring yourself to drive in the snow but you really want to read something. They staff is enormously helpful at making sure you get the books you're looking for, and they have a wonderful selection of new & trendy books as well 📚📚📚

This place never disappoints.

As we don't have Wi-Fi at the cottage we, my children and niece and nephews and even I, will often spend a few hours here over our weekend cottaging... completing assignments. The space is comfortable and you can plug-in your laptop or use a computer station to work.

There are reasons why this library is seen as innovative by the Ontario Library Association: They have great programs, participate in the TD Summer Reading Program, order stacks of the best books, have a seed library and so on.
