Très intéressant ce musée sur le 1er cable transatlantique reliant l'Irlande à Terre Neuve. Le seul bémol est qu'ils ne mettent pas la traduction française sur les panneaux.

Really informative! The station itself was in use up until the 1960s and it was left more or less as it was when it closed. The displays are really well done, the staff were informative and helpful, and the video history had great production values. This is worth going out of your way to visit if you're a tech nerd.

Beautifully preserved site of the first trans Atlantic cable complete with all the equipment used at the time to operate a link between north America and Europe via Morse code at the time.
The staff was clearly passionate about the exhibits and very informative.

It’s a little bit out of the way as many things are in Newfoundland but well worth the trip and an easy drive from St . John’s.
