We had the absolute pleasure of working with Helvi’s Catering for our wedding at Maple Hill Farm and we could not be happier with the experience! From the very beginning, Mary-Louise was such a joy to work with — incredibly organized and attentive to every detail. She even provided us with samples ahead of time, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free.

On the wedding day, the Helvi’s Catering team was outstanding. The staff was not only professional and efficient but also warm and friendly, which made a huge difference in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Everything from set-up to clean-up was handled seamlessly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

The food itself was simply phenomenal — we had so many guests tell us it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding! The mushroom-stuffed chicken, in particular, was an absolute standout and had everyone raving about it.

If you’re looking for a caterer who is organized, easy to work with, and delivers incredible food with impeccable service, we highly recommend Helvi’s Catering. They truly helped make our day unforgettable!

Helvi's provided a custom menu for our guests, including some speciality dishes in honour of the life we celebrated. All of our guests enjoyed the food and were well served by the team at Helvi's.

Great communication from Day 1. Very organized the day of the event - allowing us to be with our friends and family.

My lunch for the last 3 days at an education course I am attending has been Helvi’s. This was the first time I have eaten their food. I loved everything I tried! Full of flavour and I went back for more. Will definitely order again! Wish I would have taken pics of food all three days. So good!!
Definitely recommend, you won’t regret!

After reading the reviews, I am shocked to realize how unprofessional and lackluster the service & meal was at a wedding I recently attended.
The young girls who served the food, were polite & open to direction.
The meal was served 1.5 hours late, at a wedding! The pasta was overcooked, the chicken was dry, and no coffee or tea was served.

THANK YOU to Mary-Louise and her team for the amazing food provided for my dad's funeral reception.
Mary-Louise went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, she was most accommodating when we had to make minor adjustments.

We ordered the chicken parmesan and the penne pasta with vegetables and everything was HOT and delicious!! The chicken was so moist, everyone raved about how good it was!
Desserts that were made in house were also VERY good with a wide variety!

Dealing with Mary-Louise and her team was top-notch from our initial conversation contact right to the very end. Can't thank her enough for her outstanding service and attention to detail. You are AMAZING!

If you need catering services, don't look anywhere else, Helvi's is the place to go. (I called other places and wasn't pleased with what I saw...something to be said about actually talking with someone as opposed to ordering on-line.)

We look forward to ordering from Helvi's again, definitely will be repeat customers!

I got catering for my husband’s 50th birthday party. Ordering was seamless, with support to choose the course and salads. We had the white wine chicken and veggie cheese penne with Caesar and garden salad. Everyone raved about how good the chicken was and even the picky children loved the pasta! The food was delivered hot and on time. I ordered for 25 people and think I’ll have leftovers for a week- the portions were very generous! The best part is that it was half the price of all the other caterers I called and got quotes from- very reasonable! Thanks Helvi’s for a wonderful service!
