High River Post Office - High River, Alberta

My grandmother and I had an awful experience with one particular woman at the front desk. My grandma has been a high river resident and has worked with Trudy and other staff numerous times and knew them to be kind patient and helpful. But this lady must be new because she was incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely ignored our genuine concern. I have my healthcare card coming in the mail and need to receive it to my grandparents address, and she was zero help at all. She interrupted my grandmother multiple times and spoke to us both like we were stupid. I don’t care if we had made any mistake, there was no need for her to be rude and judgmental like she was. This happened two separate days this week so I know it wasn’t a “bad day” situation either. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating to see as a newly returning member of High River’s community

I ordered a gift for my husband for father's day, they did not tell me that the package was available for pickup and therefore my package got sent back to the company. Seems they can't be bothered to do their job since this isn't the first time this has happened.

Reading all these negative reviews really surprised me! I have been using the High River Post Office for 12 years, my husband for 43 years, and we have never had a problem.

Since my arrival in 2011, I started with Linda who was the Postmaster at the time, but has since retired. I have worked with both Trudy as well as Gloria, no problems.

There is also a gentleman that seems to appear whenever any of the others are away. He is very good too, but unfortunately I still do not know his name, my bad.

I have nothing but a good review for these folks. I am sorry that others have not had as good service, but I have found that you receive what you give, so perhaps they need to check what they are bringing to the table.

For me, the High River Post Office is doing a good job, so keep up the good work.

Extremely rude lady at the front counter. If you hate you're job that much do not try to serve the public.
Also this place never picks up the phone.
Canada Post is the worst service

Canada Post makes me drive 30 minutes each way to get any package that won’t fit in our community box. They deliver to the neighbours gates, seems they’re grandfathered until they sell. Okotoks is half the distance, still bad but a solution they claim they can’t do. Canada Post and it’s family of federal disservices, gotta love the mess we’ve become!

For the most part they are friendly however there is one lady here that is miserable! Usually the lady that delivers my mail on this end is amazing however I think she may not be working right now cause I have not gotten my mail in a week and a half.. a package was expected 8 days ago!

Absolutely horrific service. Gloria claims she put a notice to renew card in my box 3 times. She is lying or mistaken as I'm then only one who checks the mail. They closed our box and our mail was returned to sender.

Canada Post made the worst decision to switch rural mail delivery to their can't-fit-anything-except flyers community boxes. And they assigned the post office that need an hour drive to pick up your tiny little parcels. I'll be totally fine if you just throw it over my fence.
