As a contractor make sure you’re prepaid. Waiting on invoices to be paid from June/July 2024. Still not paid and almost 2025 now.

UPDATE 2022 : hard to believe but this mill is deteriorating even more. No one in the entire place cares about cleanliness or housekeeping. You will be working in a foot deep of Lime mud and dust depending if they wet the floor. All drains are clogged so you can't even clean the work area if you wanted to.
OHS has been notified last year and they ignore all the safety infractions. So much for accountability. Save your health and safety and NEVER step foot in this place. Spent two days here and already have a sinus infection from all the nasty dusty and chemicals. Absolutely embarrassing. Management needs to wake up and put people's safety first. Even better they sent two of my co-workers home for lockout infractions when it was the mills mistake . They have no accountability.

The most hazardous, dirty and neglected Pulp mill I have ever worked at and this is the 6th pulp mill I have worked in. They don't care about you or your safety. Tripped numerous times on holes in grating and floors.they shut the water to the washrooms off with no warning so we were unable to even wash our hands(what about covid guys?). You make us walk around with masks fogging up our glasses so we can't even see but you cant provide basic necessities like running water. The icing on the cake was getting told 10 minutes before a power outage and to have the mill worker "surprised" we were never informed. The lack of organization and planning is embarrassing. Get your mill together folks.

It’s 4 hours to pick the load(in Trailer 53’)Bt still in waiting nobody care about anyones time or anything else the guy who’s drive forklift in side the mill very lazy and disrespectful in 4 hours he done just 2 trucks to load in 53 feet Trailer
The old guy who was here before these guys he was soo fast and responsible

Most UNRESPONSIVE employer...Never respond to any of my power engineering application. They could have responded me, at least with a comment that i am not selected.

Checked application status several times and it's "no action taken", it's been 05 months. I made two enquiries but no response. I have several applications in progress. Disrespectful people. They should not be complaining that nobody lives in Hinton and we are trying to locate people to Hinton. You are actually discouraging people.
