Domenic at Home Care Assistance of Barrie was excellent, responsive and caring in his efficient manner and helped to quickly set up the care we needed for my father after he had a bad fall and was being released from hospital. Domenic quickly organized around the clock PSWs and they turned up on time and treated my dad wonderfully. I had a few interactions with them, they made suggestions on how we could keep notes and share information. They were gentle and kind with my dad and Domenic and team followed up for feedback and future planning. I would highly recommend Home Care Assistance Barrie!

Finding the appropriate support needed for elder care has proven to be a challenge. Home Care Barrie have highly rated reviews for all the right reasons.
Management are attentive, proactive and care about their team members. Dominic, Deborah, Lynn have been excellent to work with. The PSW’s we’ve had the pleasure to work with have all been excellent, caring, flexible and attentive to my Uncles care needs.
Special thabks to Pat and Kathleen for the kindness, compassion and commitment they brought to this relationship.
PSW support is a challenging role to fulfill and they’ve done it with compassion and professionalism.

Our experience with everyone at Home Care Assistance was wonderful. Domenic and Deborah clearly understand the very specialized needs of cognitive care and their dementia care training is demonstrated by their staff. The PSW who cared for our mom was caring, engaging, personable, used multiple strategies and always gave a little bit more than we expected (like always making sure the dishes were washed before she left). She worked hard, was great company and really did feel like family! We will miss her presence in our home when my parents move into care.

Home Care Assistance in Barrie provides quality and caring servicing from the owners to the office staff, client care Manager and the PSWs! This is not our first company so compared to others this one stands out incredibly! My daughter has Lynn Smith (client care Manager), Denise (scheduler) and Shannon, Samantha and Hannah as PSWs. This team listens to her care needs, participates in the care treatments and are all around fabulous people!! I can’t say enough about the quality services this team provides! I would recommend (and have) to anyone in need of care. It is hard enough working through these times in our lives making the services of utmost importance! Thank you to the team!

My 88 year old mother required more care than our family could provide and we hired Home care Assistance to replace a company that was too small to handle her needs. Because my mother was reluctant to switch, it was going to be difficult but Deborah (the owner) met with her and my mother liked her instantly. I was there for their meeting and saw how loving and compassionate Deborah was.We were able to make the transition and we were greatly impressed by the care their PSW staff provided to her. Every family member who met the PSW's told me they were impressed, and how lovely they were to my mother.They were with her, providing comfort, when she passed away. I highly recommend them.
