Great experience. The team took time to teach us all the basics and get us outfitted for our river trip. Once handed off to Dean, our river guide, we were further educated to ensure a safe and enjoyable river adventure. I would like to say, in our group, we’ve done several rafting experiences both in Banff and in Colorado, and this definitely seemed as though the guides kept our safely as top priority, while ensuring we had a great experience.

Joined their rafting today, very detailed and clear safety instructions.
Fabian was absolutely fabulous ✨ love his energy and little introductions to the landscape around us!
Takes about 2 hours for the whole experience. Perfect to enjoy the river in a not so physically demanding but fun way 🙂
Just have to prepare some clean clothes, towel to dry up after the experience, and swimsuit (cotton clothings were not recommended coz it will cause body heat loss)
They have clean washroom and changing room, warm shower too!

Dean (aka Shawn) was amazing best guide we could’ve asked for, he cracked us up and knew what he was doing definitely recommend and the photos are so worth it to buy afterwards!! Definitely will be paying dean another visit to go rafting again!!!

We had the most fantastic time kicking horse whitewater rafting with Hydra in Canada! The entire experience was thrilling, well-organized, and filled with stunning scenery. Huge kudos to Dean, our guide — he was absolutely amazing! His energy, and expertise made the whole trip not only safe but incredibly fun. He kept us pumped, well-informed, the whole way.

If you're thinking about trying whitewater rafting, do it — and if you get Dean as your guide, you're in for a real treat!

The Kicking Horse rafting trip was one of the biggest highlights of our trip! Our guide Drew was fantastic, super personable, and provided tons of information during the trip. All of the staff was friendly and helpful from beginning to end. The gear was in great shape and we quickly realized our fears of being freezing cold on the river were unfounded. With the provided gear we were very comfortable and enjoyed every splash and big wave we crashed into. At the end of the trip the consensus was we wished it was longer and we had more big waves. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour and ask for Drew as your guide!

Absolutely amazing! The river was amazing and our guide Bill was extremely, safe, knowledgeable, and made our trip down the river awesome! Perfect trip for a fun family adventure.! I have been on quite a few river expedition and Hydra has a great program that works well.
I also really appreciate that the pictures they took were very affordable with no price gouging.
Thanks again to Bill and all the guides that made this trip down the river so fun!

Great experience and probably the best company to go with on the river! Super safe and very engaging! Fabian was our guide; he was funny and we had loads of fun on our trip 🙂
