Response: We explicitly told you we prefer working with listing agents directly. You wouldn’t show us the property or confirm my mum’s dates and you kept repeating all the downsides of this property so that’s why I asked my friend to make a call to you. I asked my friend to figure out why the agent isn’t willing to show it and is trying to steer us away. When you wouldn’t show us the property, you told us in passing, that there was a recent offer but your seller has rejected all previous lower offers so that’s why I said, “ok, we’ll wait to hear what happens with that offer before viewing” and asked, “will you please let us know?” (What’s the point of viewing if the offer is accepted?) Then we did not hear from you at all and learned of the actual low ball sale online. And no, we did not ask would the seller accept a low ball offer, ever! We asked if he was reasonable and you told us and my friend, “no, he has had the place for a long time, is in no rush, is willing to wait til he gets what he wants and is pretty firm.” You also quoted 2021 pandemic prices saying $600k even after I shared comparables of nothing in that vicinity, and we are well out of covid crazy market.

Original: Absolutely terrible! Not sure why Jason did not want to show or sell us a property that my mother and I continued to express interest in but he kept trying to dissuade us and eventually sold the property for well under what we were willing to offer and never got back in touch with us. He kept saying seller wasn’t going to budge on price yet that is clearly untrue: the property sold for $80k under asking and a lot less than what we would have paid. What a slap in the face. What, does our money smell or something? Treated us like we weren’t serious buyers. It cost him and his client thousands of dollars and we lost out on a property we really liked and wanted to enjoy for years to come.
