I had a really disappointing experience at Joy Hair Salon. My stylist, Lori, did not listen to what I asked for, and the end result was nothing like what I was expecting.

What made it worse was how I was treated afterward. When I called to express my concerns and ask for a resolution, I was met with complete rudeness and was even hung up on!! There was zero accountability, I was told it would be better after washing but you can’t wash out unblended fat choppy foils.

I expect professionalism and respect—especially when a customer is unhappy—and I received neither. I would not recommend this salon or Lori to anyone looking for quality service or basic customer care.

Absolutely amazing experience, I’m torn in posting this review because I want to keep Joy Salon a secret but also others should know how amazing it is!

Got my hair cut today, and couldn’t be more happy! I’ve gotten 4 compliments since leaving, and am astounded how easy it was to communicate exactly what I wanted. Normally with fine hair, I have to fight to not have layers cut in, however today it was a conversation about how I like it cut, and recommendations on length to take off.

10/10 recommend.

Went to Joy Salon for the first time and will be going back. Skye cut my hair and I was very pleased with it. A really good job. I like the job she did on the sides of my hair even better than my previous hair dresser. Would definitly recommend Skye as a hair dresser.

Nadia has done my hair for years and it is so good to finally have her back in town. She genuinely listens and respects what I want to do with my hair.
I love the products they use and highly recommend the kerasilk treatment, it really helped detangle my curly hair and made it so silky smooth!
