So, we had the daunting task of updating our kitchen. The cupboards were only 14 years old but were standard oak colour which was a bit dated. No knowing anyone who had previosly had their cupboards refinished I set out on the internet to find someone at a reasonable price that could do the job. Luckily I found Kaza Refinishing. What a spectacular job they did. Professionalism from beginning to end. I was a bit skeptical because the price was so good. In the end I have nothing but praise. Attention to details, accuracy, protection for the household, paint quality and a 10 year guarantee. The painting staff we very polite and answered all of our questions with clarity and detail. We have three bathrooms to refinish and without a doubt it will be Kaza Refinishing. BTW, they are going to paint our new kitchen island too.

We were impressed by the many positive reviews on Kaza and hired them to resurface our kitchen cabinets. Marcus came by to look at our kitchen and was very courteous and re-assuring about their ability to do a great job. The quote was very reasonable as well. Somehow things went downhill once the work started in Feb 2023. The work was supposed to take a couple of weeks including both on-site and off-site at his workshop. Our cabinets were damaged by water at his workshop and, to cut a long story short, after prolonged delays on Marcus’s part, we had to get the cabinets repaired by a third party; and the project took until June (4 months!) to be completed. Our kitchen was unusable for well over a month, covered by protective sheets and with some of his equipment lying around. I understand unforeseen problems arise, but Marcus just wouldn’t even give me an expected date for completion. He said he had no sympathy as I should know delays happen in renovations! Three months into a 2-week renovation, he said he would not give me a timeline for completion (text messages attached).

Marcus and his staff did our kitchen in December 2023. Our kitchen was so dull and while the cabinets were well made and of good quality they really needed some tender loving care. I dealt with Marcus via email and text for the duration of our kitchen refinishing being done. He was very informed and very helpful. Being a senior and not knowing anything about this man and his company we were very skeptical and asked if we could come and visit him at his shop which is what we did. Giving a deposit to someone whom we had never met was a little scary for us and thus the reason I asked for the visit. We drove to Stoney Creek from Port Dover and we were so happy that we did. Marcus walked us through the entire process in his shop which was very interesting and helpful to both my husband and I. We met his staff who were as well very personable and knowledgeable. We left there feeling so much better. We finalized our contract and gave Marcus the required deposit. When they come into our home to take the cabinet doors everything was labelled and when they come in to our home to paint the cabinet boxes they were very clean and tidy with the work that they did. They tented our entire kitchen so we had no overspray anywhere. They were extremely tidy and clean every step of the process. The end result was that I have a fabulous kitchen that I absolutely love. I have attached pictures of the kitchen as it is at present. The comments I get from my friends in Dover Coast have all been positive which has ended up in Marcus doing a number of homes in our complex.
This past April I decided that my master bathroom was so outdated and needed the same treatment that my kitchen had. I called Marcus and he was working on a kitchen in my complex and it was perfect timing. He was able to pick up doors and then came back a few weeks later to paint the boxes. My bathroom is as beautiful as my kitchen is and I am so happy with the end result. Marcus is a young business man with a lot of drive and we found that he went above and beyond in every aspect of our project. We would highly recommend Marcus and his Company to make your dreams come true with a beautiful new makeover. He and his staff are the best.

Based on a reasonable price, Marcus' indepth knowledge and experience and positive reviews, we chose Kaza to refinish our kitchen cabinets. The only downside was that we had to wait six months before the work started. We are thrilled to report that Marcus and his team of Kat, Mira and Amanda did an awesome job. Kaza was worth the wait.
