This charming place offers lunch and snacks (I highly recommend the cinnamon buns!). Kim started slaving away in her home kitchen to bring her home cooked deliciousness to catered events. As the business grew into favorable love, she expanded to this cafe... where you can stop by for lunch or a snack without an invite to her home :). Friendly people, wholesome food!

The fish and chips was pretty good I enjoyed my meal although I wish the fish was haddock and not pollock. For the price you pay best bang for your buck in Strathmore.

Excellent breakfast for only $6.99, including coffee (and all the cream you want.) The eggs are always perfect no matter which way I asked them to be cooked. The Cook came out to ask customers how they enjoyed their meal. Awesome place!

Great food at a reasonable price. Service is great. Part of our order got lost in the shuffle on a very busy evening (not a free seat in the place). Didn't complain, they picked up on it right away. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes or so, no big deal. Tried to pay, they comped the whole bill, and gave us pie!!! They had me at free home made pie!!! Have been there a dozen times at least, that was the only hiccup to speak of. Breakfast special every day until 11. $6 or $7 for a full breakfast. Just as fast as the McDicks here and 100 times the quality for breakfast. Can't go wrong!!!

This place is now called PJ,S. We had a family outing 4 adults and 2 children. Food was fantastic, big portions, tasty and it was presented well. Our waitress was very attentive, and frequently came back to make sure our needs were met. All entrees came with either soup or salad and at the end a piece of soooooo good pie all for under $15. Kids eat free after 4 so our total bill was under $65. This was our first time here but will most certainly not be our last. 5 stars for sure. And the owner/chef e cdn came and talked to us. Fantastic

This place is now called PJs Diner. Definitely the best Fish n Chips in Strathmore. Everything about it was good . The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly. I'm sure my husband and I will go there often. Great place to meet my girlfriends for lunch too.

Had the Yorkshire pudding and roast beef. It was amazing. And for $17. Very good value. Felt like it was home cooked. Nothing processed about this meal.

Came with some friends for lunch we all ordered wraps. It was taking a long time about 40 minutes. The waitress came over and said they lost our order in the fruit bowl. 15 minutes later our wraps cane out. My friend is allergic to eggs and asked for no sauce. Her wrap had sauce in it and she sent it back. The waitress came and explained that the creamy white sauce was sauce was juice from the tomatoes. Then I ordered no tomatoes on my food and in the salad there was a heaping pile of tomatoes. The food was good but the one waitress who took our orders was incompetent. The waitress dropped out plates on the floor and blames it on us. She was the worst waitress I have ever had. Thats a wrap on our experience at Kim's.
