Très joli phare, malheureusement impossible de le visiter mais la ville avoisinante vaut absolument le détour que ce soit pour une bonne bouffe, un petit dessert ou du magasinage. Le phare est également situé près d'une plage et d'un quai duquel il est possible de réserver des excursions en bateau!

This is the first lighthouse that I've been able to climb to the top. The last set of stairs are just like climbing up a ladder. A great view of the marina and lake. The tour guide was informative with historical stories, tales of former residents and answered all of our questions. A quick pitstop while walking around the town.

Beautifully situated lighthouse. We arrived late to visit the interior but well worth a stop to admire from the outside and watch a sunset. There is also the phantom piper in July and August at sunset with the stories and info in the photos below.

Though I missed the season for experiencing the interior of the lighthouse museum, I still enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing the items on the outside, since I had never seen a real lighthouse. There's a great view, along with multiple narrative markers outside.

Beautiful place to visit just near the beach. Not very crowded but good relaxing visit. Good place to visit with kids and family. Nice and clean inside.

A Historic Beacon with Scenic Views!

Visited the Kincardine Lighthouse and Museum and was thoroughly charmed by its historic appeal. The climb to the top rewards with panoramic views of the harbour. The museum is small but packed with interesting local history. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Only wished there were more interactive exhibits. Nonetheless, a great spot for photography and learning about Kincardine's maritime past. Would recommend a visit!
