Byron called in advance and on time. He was very knowledgeable and fast. He got the job done quickly and was friendly and helpful. Cleaned up after and did a small repair to my water softener which we didn't ask to do but was glad he did! Super job. Would highly recommend

My family is new to the Headingley area and recently started using King's Services for septic cleaning services. We experienced an unrelated issue resulting in our water pump losing its prime and requiring a shut down to avoid damaging the motor, leaving us unable to use our water without fear of backup.

Thankfully, we were able to connect with King's and resolve the problem quickly and effectively. A huge thank you to Byron for not only being very communicative during the scheduling process, but also for taking the time to explain what had happened and what to do about it in a professional and courteous manner on site. I now have a much better understanding of how my water pump works and how to care for it going forward, which alleviates stress and makes me a happy customer!

I live in the north end of winnipeg and unfortunately we have a high rate of homelessness and addiction. Earlier this week a porter potty was placed infront of my house for construction. They asked me if I wanted it moved and I said no because I didn't see it as an issue. The next day multiple people from the street were going in and out and leaving bags and garbage. I called again and asked if they could move it down 2 houses to the abandoned house and I was told no, but that they could get the guys to lock it after work hours. I was fine with that. Today I woke up and it has been toppled over onto its side. When I went outside the lock had been ripped off. I called kings again and explained what happened and was told that they were going to look into it. 30 min later I called back and asked and he said there was nothing he could do and that the workers needed it for Monday. (Today is Saturday). I asked again if they could move it 2 houses down where it was abandoned. He explained that it had to stay exactly where it was for the workers. I explained it was pushed over and that it was a huge hazard sitting infront of our house. The lock was taken off and about 7 needles all around the porter potty. (I have pictures of everything and we also have cameras showing people coming and leaving it.) Luckily the work guys havent even started working on the street yet so it did not have full waste but this following week it will. It is also put right infront of our walkway to get to the street. I asked if someone lit it on fire what should I do (because many things set on fire mysteriously in the north end). He laughed and told me he couldn't help me. I said your a big help and hung up (yes I swore out of frustration).
About 3 minutes later I got a phone call back hoping they had worked something out. Instead a lady spoke to me and said her name was destiny and that she was the store manager. She told me my tone of voice was inappropriate and that I was not even a customer and I did not have the right to speak to the employee and I asked how else was I to react when I'm clearly frustrated and I'm laughed at by someone who is supposed to be customer service. She then continued to lecture me about the tone of my voice. We continued to argue back and forth. I asked multiple times for them to move it 2 houses down. She continued to say I was not a customer and she does not even need to speak to me. I asked if the phone calls were recorded, she said yes. I proceeded to say that I was going to email head office (since I asked for someone above her and she said she was the store manager) because not only was HIS customer service horrible. The fact that the store manager called me back to tell me to use a nicer tone and continued to argue with me and state she doesn't have to help me because I'm not a customer is shameful customer service.
She is now sending someone on Monday to move it down 2 houses. (Probably not after I post this review).
If head office sees my review before my email. Please pull the recordings of our phone call April 4th, 2025 11:23 a.m.

Update - about 5 minutes after I posted my review on Saturday a male gentleman from kings was outside moving the porter potty across the street infront of the abandoned parking lot. I truly appreciate the quick work from destiny as I was told on the phone there was nothing anybody could do. The guy who does that job wasnt in on weekends, the construction site demanded it be placed where it was, I wasn't a customer so it didn't need to be done.
I still stick by shamefully customer service. I'd also appreciate it kings stopped calling me as I'm not a customer.

I live on a small acreage and I cannot say enough good praise for this company or the workers that performed the job. What started as a small repair to my sewer main line from the house to the holding tank turned out to be a complete removal and installation of a new tank. I was notified immediately about my tank issues and formulated a solution to resolve this with minimum disruption to my household. Nobody wants three teenagers and two younger ones without showers or toilets. The workers (Kyle and Ryan) were very professional, courteous and helpful. They explained the process and gave recommendations upon completion of the task. Also a shout out to Ryan Schmidtke, Plumbing Sales Supervisor who help guide us through this stressful time. Thank you!

Unfortunately the pleasantness of the staff on the phone doesn't make up for the weak management, incorrect scheduling, lack of technical knowledge and poor follow up.

This was a second chance after bad experience last year that took months to sort out. I hoped they would have figured things out and wanted to support local but ill gladly pay the travel time for another company to not have to deal with Kings again

I'm very impressed and plan to have an ongoing yearly maintenance service scheduled. Work was done well, billing process easy and Rachel finished the service with a follow up. Strongly recommend.
