Tyler helped my wife and I make decisions about what we needed and I felt very comfortable with his suggestions.

When the guys came to do the installation, they were professional and friendly. They pointed out some concerns with our hot water tank - not trying to sell us one, just warning to keep an eye on it, which I really appreciated.

After the job was done they explained everything to me, even dumbing it down (without being judgy) for me with some stuff I just had no clue about.

They tidied up all of the construction mess and were on their way in under 2 days for both the air conditioner and furnace.

When we have other work, Tyler will be my very first call.

Called Tyler after ( Action furnace gave me an outrageous quote cost ) Not only did Tyler get me a much better deal. He made sure it was the right fit. He sent a guy out that same day to look at what was needed before the cold snap on the weekend. He offered heaters to me in case myself or the family needed the heat until he was able to get in. The install crew were great. I highly recommend everyone to give them a shot.

We found ourselves during a significant cold spell in Edmonton with a gas furnace that was failing. It began leaking water on the floor around.

We called three firms that we knew. All three advised the secondary heat exchanger was likely cracked. This spelled furnace replacement, but these firms were too busy to take this on. One firm could do the job in about two months!

There was concern of carbon monoxide leaking, since the water was a product of natural gas combustion.

This last firm directed me to Tyler Phinney, owner of KTP Mechanical here in Leduc.

He listened to my concerns, sent a specialist to my house right away, and put me in touch with the gas utility. The utility inspector arrived immediately to perform a comprehensive inspection for possible gas leakage, hence relieving my worries.

KTP also committed to replacing the furnace asap. This was completed in a few days. Installers were knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. Mats were placed where they worked and cleaned everything up afterwards.

The new furnace works far better than the old, and the install was completed during the ongoing cold spell.
