Lake House kitchen and bar is a great place to have a getaway from the kids. It is welcoming, safe, clean, friendly, comfortable, smooth check in and out! Fair prices on rooms. THE SIT DOWN PLATED BREAKFAST WAS FANTASTIC!!! I WOULD SAY ITS THE BEST BREAKFAST IVE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME!!! AND I LOVE BREAKFAST!!! THANK YOU

Kudos to chef Roy and the staff, totally blown away! Upon entering we were greeted by friendly staff, on this day the restaurant was having a special Thanksgiving Buffet. Don't let a restaurant attached to a Days Inn fool you, this is the closest you're gonna get to a real family thanksgiving dinner! Best part you won't have your crazy aunt to drag the mood down. Jokes aside, the food was incredible from the Homemade buns, to stuffing, the gravy.. and the turkey/ham?! *Chef's kiss* 20/10 if you're looking to eat here. Just do it, you'll enjoy it!

Great spot for brekkie , service was good and the food was really good too. The place could do with a bit of a refresh though, looks and feels very dated. Bathrooms were rough, definitely needs attention. Best Benedict in town for sure !

WOW!!! This is such a hidden gem!
The food is worth travelling for!
During my stay in Sylvan Lake this is the only place I ate at! I CANNOT recommend it enough!
The service, quality of cuisine and exceptional skill of the chef! I was blown away!
I was lucky enough to try the Ceylon prawn curry, veal cutlet and drunken mussels during my stay and each dish was equally as exceptional.
I can’t wait to eat here again soon!!
This is the place for any meal!

Food was flavorful but greasy, waiter took order then forgot smoothie which then took 15 mins to make. extremely slow service.
Accidentally overcharged for fries that were included in a meal. very quiet and erie. Food was nice.

Edit: was given a free slice of cheese cake for my birthday which was very nice.

Also this diner is so close to the packed solvent lake so ofc it will be slower, but I think our walled seating make waiters forget we were there.

Based on other reviews, I would recommend the more fancy stuff like steaks, seems to be their ball park.

While we were going to Edmonton we came across this place Days Inn sylvan lake. We stayed overnight and the rooms were nice everything was neat and tidy, the beds were nice and comfy and everything was there if we needed. The restaurant experience was excellent the food was top tier and the staff were friendly, and the best customer service we've had without a doubt. The overall experience was fantastic and we'd definitely come back again.

Great experience! Breakfast buffet had eggs benedict, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage and butter chicken with rice. Staff was very professional and the cook came out and spoke with us as well. The restaurant is very nicely remodelled. I would recommend anyone to go try their large menu!
