Leduc Chrysler service department is top notch. I flew into Edmonton airport and once I got in my car I knew something was wrong. Oil leaking out under the engine. I made one phone call and they were able to get me in to have a look. Once explaining I live in Calgary and would be willing to leave my vehicle there for repairs. They made some room and had someone working on it. Couple hours later I was back on the road. Dawn was great to deal with, she kept me informed the whole time I waited. And she even found a way to knock the price down a little.

I bought a 2023 Gladiator in May from Leduc Chrysler Jeep, the sales part was fine. I tried to book in for the first oil change in the end of August they couldn’t accommodate and were booking in to the second week September, I went to Sherwood Park because I could get in sooner. Some women called me on the 11th of November from the Leduc dealership asking why I haven’t been servicing my vehicle there, I explained what happened when I do call for an appointment and they couldn’t accommodate it, she was obnoxious and asked again why my vehicle hadn’t been in for a service. On the 26th of November I called to book my vehicle in for a service and to also get no tires and rims for winter, I booked my appointment for Dec 4th gave them 9 days notice, I was asked what time I wanted, 9 am worked for me. Showed up yesterday morning to drop off my vehicle at 8:45, even offered to pay for everything $2400.00 and change, I was told I couldn’t pay until the work was completed, fair enough. They have a shuttle available, I figured rather than sit at the dealership for a few hours, I would head to my daughter’s house till the work was completed. I called at 11:40 to see if my vehicle was done, they hadn’t even started working on it! I was told they had issues with the tire mounting machine, I can appreciate that, but there were 10 days the tires could have been mounted and ready to install, I was also told that because I was dropped off by the shuttle that they felt they could keep my vehicle there ALL day… really? Why would I book a 9am appointment for you to keep my vehicle ALL day, I took an uber from Leduc to my home in Devon, they let me know at 3pm that my vehicle was ready to go, I asked about the shuttle, they said due to weather it was not available. They informed me this morning that the shuttle was still unavailable, they phoned at 3:30 today to say my vehicle is still there and now apparently the shuttle will not come to Devon at all, it’s to far from Leduc. This whole situation could have been avoided if they would have done the work at the time of the appointment and if they would have respected my time, communicated they had broken or malfunctioning equipment, communicated that by dropping a person off with the shuttle was a green light for them to keep my vehicle all day, I was offered 1/2 off the installation fee for the tires, about $125.00, I did have a little laugh at that, keep it, it’s highly unlikely that my vehicle will even go back to your dealership, I will also never recommend your dealership, blatant disregard for customers time.
*Just to clarify with Leduc Chrysler Jeep, I did not bring in my vehicle with issues to “work through”, it was an oil change, and new tires to be installed, no actual concerns about the vehicle, do not try to spin this as partial my misunderstanding, it was a 9am appointment for an oil change and new tires to be installed with ample for your service department to be prepared for the 9am appointment*

It’s uncommon for me to write a review, but I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from encountering similar issues. After my vehicle broke down in the area, I had it towed to Leduc Chrysler. My initial visit was for the replacement of my driver and passenger side CV axles, with no additional work requested. I was later informed that my oil had been accidentally drained, and when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I found that my battery was dead due to the technician leaving the doors open all day while working on the truck. While both of these issues seemed minor, they led me to lose confidence in the level of care given to my vehicle.

I reluctantly returned six months later to address concerns that had come to light while having a changeover done elsewhere. While on the hoist, it was discovered that the passenger side CV was missing a C-clip. I brought the vehicle back to Leduc Chrysler, expecting them to rectify the issue. However, I was told I would need to pay an additional $2,180 to replace the axle shaft, as the splines were now stripped—an issue that had not been mentioned during my initial visit. Furthermore, I was informed that the part would take three weeks to arrive.

After expressing my concerns to the service department, I received a work order stating that the repairs were performed correctly and that they were not at fault. What troubled me most was that the new issues—directly related to the part they had replaced—surfaced shortly after their work, yet the responsibility for the repair was shifted entirely onto me with no effort to make amends.

Ultimately, I took my vehicle to a trusted mechanic, who resolved the issue for less than half the cost and completed the work nearly two and a half weeks sooner. Since sharing my experience, I’ve heard similar stories from others. I would strongly advise caution and recommend seeking service elsewhere.
