My wife and I recently purchased glasses at Uptown. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and were impressed with the selection available. After explaining our budget, our coverage, and our basic criteria the owner went to work by simultaneously ensuring our understanding of our coverage was accurate while introducing us to a variety of styles and options. We never felt pressured or rushed - even though the process took us beyond 5 pm (closing time). Making the experience even better, was the fact our glasses were ready before the expected date and when we returned the owner took the time to ensure the glasses fit properly. We went happily on our way with great upgraded glasses, stylish cases, and complimentary glass cleaner. The overall experience was professional tinged with small town hospitality and humour. We will be back.
