If you want something they have in stock, it's a good place to look for mid to higher-end furniture and appliances. But if you want something on the more affordable side or on sale, you will likely have to wait up to 6 weeks for it to be ordered and delivered to the store. Just be sure to check before making plans. This is an independent store so no sharing between other stores, all ordered products come from the Leon's warehouse.

So happy that I am able to visit my local Leon's store and have experienced and friendly associates to work with. From day one locating all the appliances needed for my father's new home, after his was lost due to a fire, was quite overwhelming. Jesse was there to be able to assist with everything we needed and he couldn't have been easier to deal with. He was so knowledgable and helped walk me through each and every item. I could not recommend these guys more and appreciate never failing to make me feel like my business was important to them. I appreciate it so much, thanks again for even helping me find this great rug too 🙂

Went in mid August to look at couches. Sales guy was super helpful and got us a print off to check sizing at home. Took the weekend to think it over then called and put in a deposit over the phone.
They ended up billing us the full amount, not just a deposit.
The delivery has been pushed back from beginning of September to now potentially end of October.
Called today to see if we can get an update if we have an exact delivery date yet (seeing as we’re almost into October), they said they’d have to check and give us a call back, when they did call back it was only to tell us we’d have to wait till their purchaser is in next week and they’ll call us to let us know.

(The same guy that gave us the measurements ended up giving us a partial refund, which is the only reason this isn’t a one star. As at least that money can be put to work elsewhere while we’re waiting.)

Why I’m leaving a review: Discovered today, after getting annoyed and doing some calling around, another Leon’s has the exact couch we want and was able to give us an exact delivery date of October 30th (no call backs etc just a brief hold under 2 minutes) Kinda wished I’d shopped around to begin with as I’d likely have a couch by now.
So for those that don’t want to wait 5-10 weeks with hit or miss service there are other options.

I bought a super awesome umbrella for the deck, replacing my beloved Zellers umbrella that sadly broke.

Geat service. Family oriented business and trustworthy. Delivered on time and setup.

Only problem I had was it was sunny when I bought the umbrella, however it was cold and it rained for 4 days after buying it. I do not think Leon's can control the weather but who knows.

Regardless, 5 stars.

Just ordered a fridge and mattress off leons website, with the purchase of the fridge the mattress was half price.paid for it ,talked to the store it was set to be delivered tomorrow.i just got a call saying oh sorry there was a mistake on the website so the mattress you've already paid for is being reimbursed in a FEW DAYS!!!! it wasn't supposed to be half price.but I've ordered paid and have a delivery day.how is their mistake my problem. So I cancelled the fridge too and told them I would get elsewhere .was given the run around about getting my money back , nobody knew who was responsible for paying it back to me!!!!! Will not shop here again.your mistake shouldn't turn into my problem ,I should get what I paid for and they can fix their website after.

When I went in they greeted me fine. Was looking at bed a new bed tried a few but needed soon not in a month. They had one that I like and was in stocked. Told them I would take it but also wanted a sofa. So we went to look at the sofa and the one we wanted would not be in till may and they would not sell the floor model. Then why have it in the floor if you can’t get it for month was one item that irritates me. Then we did pick one from the ones that was in stock. Went to pay and he then said oh the other lady just sold that mattress you wanted. But we have another one in. Stock for 250$ more or we can get on in full not queen or you will have to wait till March. I said that that was bait and switch because they probably never had them in stock and assume I would wait for other to come in. Like who wants to wait months then to find out that it’s going to take longer. Who wants to wait months for furniture while they have it on the floor. Told them if you tell someone you have it in stock then tell them when you go and pay that oh we just sold it when no one was in the store is bait and switch. Leon’s have the worst service. Last time they claimed bankruptcy in Kentville and I had to wait months to get
My furniture and said that I would try yarmouth but bait and switch stuff got me irritated. I will never go there again at any Leon’s
