We love our new home and Melanie at Melabu Design & Drafting made the process easy. She had a ton of innovative ideas and gave us many great suggestions to help create the home of our dreams. It was a great experience!

We selected Melabu Design & Drafting for our complex cottage renovation and addition project. The addition needed to seamlessly integrate into the existing footprint and structure. This required that the new foundation tie into the existing slab, as well integrating the new roof into the existing roofline.

Melanie really has an eye for design in conjunction with being creative and practical. She optimized the roofing and foundation “system” to minimize the impact on the existing foundation and structure, while “fitting in” all of our requirements into some tight spaces. She clearly communicates options, status, and delivery dates while responding quickly to requests and emails.

All of the items above, combined with her knowledge of Lambton Shores Municipality, and the quality of work has made our project an absolute success!
