This is my all time favourite candle shop! I discovered Natura years and years ago and was so happy to finally find a Canadian small business who makes a great product. The candles burn evenly and the scent isn’t overpowering like so many candles are. My favourite scent is London Fog, I highly recommend it. I love the warmth and glow of these candles and the clear tumbler glass it’s made in. If I ever have any questions or need some help with an online order, Colleen and her staff are always there to help! This is my go to candle shop and will be for years to come. Check them out! Owner was very rude and told me I should visit a toy store while shopping for candles in her store front. My 2 year old toddler was with me, and I usually give her a phone as a distraction but I didn’t have my phone with me this one time. My daughter picked up a spray bottle and placed it back on the shelf. She then picked up a wooden spoon.

The owner said she doesn’t want my daughter in here, and touching things that could break as she touches too many things that are fragile. I said I would pay in full for anything that may break and assume all responsibility for any losses as I have done so once before in the past. Whether I buy the product or someone else does, the store would not be losing any money. The owner said well you know the cost of labels and time to make the product is why I ask you not to bring her in.

Well, I am not leaving her in the car unattended, and leaving her at home alone is not an option. If they had later hours for the store front I could come in during the evening as someone would be home to watch my toddler but they don’t. Shopping for candles is something I prefer to do in person as I am not familiar with all the different scents. I felt just horrible and left the store. Which is a shame as I absolutely love the candles, bath soak, and laundry boost products. I also love shopping local. So I am really torn. This is the first issue I have had with the owner, but I don’t like being told to visit a toy store when shopping for candles, and being told my child was not welcome alongside me! Maybe the owner was having a bad day as I have felt welcome in her store before. But today I was treated very poorly, which is unacceptable in my mind especially towards a frequent buying customer.

We absolutely adore our friends at Natura Soylights! Working on past projects with Colleen, the owner, has been such a privilege. Not only is she insanely talented at what she does, but she’s also one of the warmest, kindest, and most genuine people we’ve ever met. Every interaction with her feels like a hug for the soul.

Her products are nothing short of magical. As someone who’s usually sensitive to fragrances, I can honestly say that Colleen’s creations are in a league of their own. Every scent is thoughtfully crafted, never overpowering, and always leaves our spaces feeling cozy and inviting. From the moment you light one of her candles, it’s pure joy.

We’ve loved working with her on product photos, but even more than that, we love filling our homes with her amazing scents. Everything she touches is a work of art, and it’s so clear that she pours her heart into her craft.
