We are now on our 3rd round of issues with NAC through Karen Berkemeyer Home. It’s been an awful experience with sub par quality. Cabinets have come wrong, bowed, damaged and fully not functioning. So far replacement in cabinets have resulted in more issues. We ordered these cabinets in December. Install started in April…hopefully we finish with a simple cabinet install by July…maybe all of the cabinets will function at some point but not holding my breath.

With over 30 years in the cabinet industry we were very selective on the lines we decided to carry in our own business (50 Lakes Cabinet Design). We have completed 3 kitchens and 2 bathrooms with cabinets from North American Cabinets (NAC) and have been super impressed with their service, professionalism and product quality. Their custom and evolution series products are superb and our customers LOVE their new cabinets.

Cafe Series is incredibly poor finish and construction. The particle board splinters and breaks if you have to cut in to. Added supports were necessary to withstand the weight of a cast iron enamel sink. On original order four doors and a drawer were nicked. One was completely split. Upon reordering to replace the original damaged doors and drawer, it took nine weeks to be re-delivered only to discover another door has to be replaced. Incredibly inferior cabinets. Would not recommend. I had to give one star because there was option for zero stars. I would give less.

My kitchen took nearly ONE Year from start to finish. I was without a kitchen for 9 months. Stove and cooktop could not be installed due to wrong sizing.Some Cabinets were delivered WRONG size and/or damaged 4 times and then I had to wait 5 weeks to get new ones which were also damaged This kept going on and on. The owners Franc and Stefan NEVER returned my emails or telephone calls. My designer and I were going crazy.My designer was finally able to get through. NEVER use this company which is in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. They are INCOMPETENT. I even had to have a meeting with the sales rep/distributor at my home to get them moving on delivery. I almost had a nervous breakdown because of them. No apologies or anything. I don't know why they are still in business.
