Don't have daily service to High Level. Frequent vehicle breakdowns.

They used to have fairly full loads when they were taking people from the reserves to medical appointments in Edmonton. The reserves now have their own transportation. I think Northern Express is having a hard time staying in business. Right now they're only doing charter trips.

It's a okay company, they are a small company and their buses are not as new and fancy as some Greyhound buses.
What I like about them is that they are fast and friendly, I came back from High Level, AB to Edmonton and we only had a couple short and normal stops. No long waitings and changing buses stuff.

I've taken this bus a few times from Smoky Lake to Edmonton. While there are no extra frills, the bus was clean and the driver friendly. I just wish they dropped off passengers closer to the downtown core of Edmonton or a couple other stops besides the West end drop off. It is pretty far for some folks to cab home from. That's what knocked a star off for me. (my initial review was 4 stars)

Today I was waiting for the bus at the Esso in Smoky-Lake. I arrived 10 min early, the bus was supposed to arrive at 510pm. I inquired inside and they told me where it usually parks. So I waited....and i waited...finally after 35 min I phoned the office. Apparently the driver came and went, IN A VAN! So now I have to call into work that I wont make it tomorrow. I don't get paid for missing either. I'm not impressed! They need to specify on their website that it can be either a bus or a van. Seriously you guys need to change things!

It is a rip off I heard that we could get a student discount strictly for school so I phoned and asked they said not unless your 18 and under. I was informed that 50 yr old women got a discount as long as a referral stating they were going to school and we should get some money back. We’ve been phoning since Monday asking for the head guy and nothing. Plus my friend lost her makeup bag on the bus and they haven’t found it. The lady is very rude when you call and ask. The bus smells like exhausts and the bathroom is disgusting. They make a lot of money doing this bus system that they can’t afford a new bus. This is the last time I will be dealing with northern express hopefully greyhound comes back to high level

“Suspended” or simply out off business. Seen a post, Northern express is out of business, as they are doing only charters. The rest of the world went back to normal, even with Covid going around. I, used to take the bus when I have no choice too, but it be nice if it was running again

Riding that little bus from Edmonton to high level is redicoulous no comfort there not bad to ride it halfway but not good for far distances need to fix the buses they have advertised

If this is the bus service not the nices bus drivers some are pretty rude and had the bus break down a couple time and we were forced to ride a school bus for the rest of the way to Edmonton didn't receive a discount
