Inflicted excessive tarp paint damage during shipping and would not cover damages. Reasonable protection measures (padding/wrapping) were not done prior to tarping. Damages/claim were indicated immediately, but Odanah refused to cover because it took us beyond a week to achieve repair quotes, as we couldn't get body shops to show up to quote, nor find ones that would quote once they did. Not only did we waste countless hours chasing to try to get their mistake sorted ... it ended with them refusing to cover.

Shipment was also way late to originally scheduled, and forklift was sent on a unit with no method of unload (it was advised prior that we could not unload a forklift from a raised deck), and seemingly poor communication between driver and dispatch.

I do not recommend this shipper ... no accountability.

Drivers have always been friendly and helpful at unloading time. My experience is that they arrive early - such a great bonus.
Communication has been better than the industry average. Odanah every day all day.

We are EXL Transportation Services Ltd and we have dealt with O Danah Truck line for over 25 years. We find them to be one of our most reliable carriers, never had any claims , and outstanding service. This shipment that Barry Edgington is referring to was with my company and it has never been refused. This shipment was delivered up to Grand Prairie, AB in January 2024 and the the company didn't start the repairs until April 20th and took a week to complete. then they filed the claim. That is when we notified O'Danah. Under no circumstances has this claim been refused. To The best of may knowledge this claim will be paid.

Unfortunately this company is great to communicate when working with them but slow to respond when getting information for payment. They do not pay the carriers they use in a timely manner and currently sitting at 60+ days for payment on loads and only being told maybe next week for payment with no guaranteed timeline. Very unfortunate.
