I came to them with front end concerns (I fell asleep and jumped a curb that morning) moments before they closed on a Friday expecting them to turn me away! To my surprise the very friendly and kind receptionist went to grab the mechanic to come and take a look at my car. Although he was not able to fix the issue with my car he examined it and took it for a drive and was able to give me helpful advice about what my issue is and the best route of action for making the 6hr trip north to work. The staff there is warm and friendly I have never had such a welcome feeling at a mechanic shop!

The workers at On Side Restoration Lethbridge and Gary’s Exteriors Inc. were very respectful and hardworking. After losing all my belongings in an apartment fire, Gary, Alan, and their teams worked hard at trying to recover some very important items of mine, digging for 2 hours in waist deep debris. I was originally told that I would never get any items back from my apartment, but these people reached out after inspecting the damages and indicated that they were going to try their hardest. As a young adult trying to create her own home, this meant the world to me. All the workers were very courteous when dealing with my situation. I thank all of them for their professionalism and kind words while I went through this difficult time.

I have to say to any one to be extremely vigilant when contracting this company. I was warned by a few of my friends, but not till this company returned my items I came to realize what has happened.
I had extreme water damage in my house due to a fire next door. This company came recommended by the insurance people and remove all my belongings, to have them dry and to store them till the house was renovated. The renovation was great.
In stead of returning my items and unpack them by room, as promised, a delivery company come and drop a mountain of boxes and damage furniture. We notice that it was a high number of items missing, but we were told that they never had them and that we have to prove that they took them. Not till I contacted the police that the insurance company open a file and treat this as theft that this company started to address my missing and damage items.

It took me over six months to get compensated for some items. I say some, because I had to provide prove that I had this and how much I paid for them.

Try to get your invoices after a fire is near impossible. If I could I will give this company a negative five stars.

On Side Restoration was employed by our home insurance company after my mother's passing and I cannot stress enough how happy my sister and I have been with the work they did. We both live out of province and were overwhelmed in the wake of everything that had taken place. Alan Jones, Grant Githmark, Trish Hopman, and their entire team exhibited the utmost professionalism and friendly demeanour at all times. They took on responsibility for removing and storing all belongings and restoring the property, and made the entire process practically stress free. I am eternally thankful.

Terrible experience all around. If your insurance company is using these guys, demand they use someone else. Took them a month to get a basic quote put together. The Carpet sample cutout they took in the most visible high traffic area.

The restoration project I had took over 4 months to get completed. There did not seem to be a lot of communication or organization among the team and sub trades. Lots of time where nothing got done.

Avoid if possible. Shoddy workmanship, cheapest ofmaterials, never showing up for appointments and generally the worst I have ever encountered . If you have an insurance claim tell them you want another contractor
