En plus, vous obtiendrai un service courtois et aucune pression pour souscrire à des assurances complémentaires non-désirées. Ma réservation auprès de PEI Car Rental à la fin mai 2025 s'est déroulée sans faille, de la prise du véhicule promis jusqu'au retour rapide une semaine plus tard. Merci à M et Mme. I just came back from a 4 -day trip where I rented a small car from PEI Car Rental and everything was perfect. From a very quick airport pick up (you must call their office once you land for them to come pick you up if you booked an airport pick up), to smooth transaction and a very well maintained, recent and very clean Kia Forte. This was the perfect car for my needs, and I was very pleased with it throughout my trip.

I had scheduled a morning car drop off at their Charlottetown office which was very efficient: you leave the car in the Delta hotel valet parking and go up to their office in the building. Someone will come pick it up and do the return inspection - very fast and no issue at all for me.

Since I had a late afternoon flight back, I had a few hours to kill downtown, they graciously offered to keep my two pieces of luggage for free in their office so I could enjoy the last few hours of my trip. This was so kind of them and much appreciated.

Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend supporting this local business to anyone looking to rent a car for their needs.

This was not the experience I expected when renting from PEI Car Rentals. There are several issues that left me frustrated and unlikely to ever use this company again.

First, nowhere does it clearly state that there is a $15 shuttle fee for airport pickup. We were surprised by this hidden charge and opted to walk instead about 25 minutes up a busy road with luggage just to avoid paying it.

The rental itself went smoothly. The car was fine a late-model Kia Forte hatchback with around 75,000 km and everything during the rental period went fine.

The problem came when returning the vehicle. I filled the tank completely just 15 minutes before drop-off and showed a fuel receipt for 30.89L purchased at 9:49 a.m., with the car returned at 10:15 a.m. Despite this, the staff questioned whether the tank was full and admitted they were “skeptical,” even though I had proof. Ironically, the car wasn’t completely full when I received it, yet I still topped it up.

To make matters worse, when I called to express my frustration and request the final invoice, the representative told me they are “always skeptical with renters.” I responded basically with the fact that I had my receipt, I wanted my final rental agreement to avoid any further issues, and they were probably in the wrong business if they were skeptical with clients and didn’t trust people with their cars. It’s unfair and insulting to treat every customer as if they’re dishonest. That attitude completely ruined the experience and left a very bad taste in my mouth.

The lack of professionalism and transparency was glaring throughout this process.

Between the hidden fees, the accusatory tone, and the hassle during the vehicle return, I cannot recommend this company and would never use them again. Save yourself the headache and rent from a reputable agency like Avis or Enterprise.

Had a great experience in PEI because of these guys! They helped my family get a rental car last minute after traveling with the Air Canada strikes. We didn't know if we would be able to get a car to travel the island. Tolga and his crew were very accommodating!

My parents and I traveled the island and took the Northumberland ferry to Nova Scotia, Halifax, and a bit of New Brunswick, going across the confederation bridge.

A huge thanks to Tolga, Ada, and Hunter for helping us enjoy our experience in PEI! Definitely recommend their services to every traveler since they are so close to the airport!!

My grandma and I rented a car for two days from this company, and it was an absolute delight. The owners were incredibly kind and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We picked up the car from the Delta Hotel and returned it there as well, which was super convenient, especially with their 24/7 drop-off option.

When there was a small mix-up with the vehicle we were supposed to take, the owners responded right away and went above and beyond to make sure we had a car ready in time for our trip. They even put us in a luxury vehicle, no extra cost!

We would absolutely rent from them again and highly recommend their service. Thank you so much!

Traveled from Texas for work on PEI. We had a good rental experience before it wasn’t. Our crew couldn’t fly back out due to the Air Canada strike. We agreed to pay for a driver to take us in our rental to Bangor, Maine. He was the highlight of the trip actually. Captain Ron was an amazing host and a relief from the long week of work and delays. The 2 star review comes from the owner who backtracked on his price for the service. Our quoted price was ignored and as a group of producers, we had to agree to pay. A bit of extortion if you ask me. Love Ron though!
