$87.00 a night for an RV campground in rural Alberta (in September) is complete nonsense. The park is clean and tidy, full service and the customer service was very nice but let’s face it….. I’ve been to lots of clean and tidy full service Alberta campgrounds with nice people and NEVER had to pay that kind of price. It’s just greedy, unfortunately we will never be back.

This was our 3rd year camping at Prairie Junction RV Resort for our daughter's softball tournament. The campground is clean, cute and pretty. The staff are amazing and friendly. The entire process from booking to checking in to checking out has always been easy. We have both tent camped and trailer camped and have always enjoyed our spots. It's close to everything in Stettler and very convenient. This year they went above and beyond for us and gave us 2 bags of free wood!
Highly recommend! We couldn't be more please. Thank You PJ!

Such a beautiful campground with all the amenities. Everything is so well kept, so so clean! You can tell the immense pride held by the owners / staff in the upkeep of the campground. My family and I had a great stay. As we are train fans, the close proximity to the Alberta Prairie Railway was a highlight:) The campground even has a small platform that the tourist train will pick you up at if you don’t want to go to the Stettler station. Nothing better sitting at your campsite and seeing a 1920 steam locomotive passing the campground:) Customer service was second to none! Definitely a five star experience! Very happy family and kids:) We will be back!

We are 3 Aussie women travelling across Canada in a RV, this RV park was by far the best we have stayed in. Fantastic amenities, super clean, great location to Main Street, eateries and shops. And to top it off the hosts are amazing, they have great local knowledge and would do anything to help you out.

This is the first time we stayed at Prairie Junction and it was for a fast pitch tournament with my daughter. Rhonda was very pleasant and extremely friendly when we first came into the office. We decided to tent and they put us in the back of the office on a grassy patch which was very nice and clean. She personally took us around and showed us their campground and the facilities and showed where we could use power for our little fridge. There is wifi also available for free.
The bathrooms were very clean and the office has a gift shop with home made goods and tasty treats to purchase as well. Typically you can judge a campground by their bathrooms and this place is very clean. Shower's were 1 Lonnie for about 2 min which we both use $2.00 each ( Lots of hot water). Quiet time is at 11:00 pm which is enforced and we were able to have fires as long as they were watched and fully extinguished when done with.
They originally overcharged me which I thought I would take care of when I got there. they brought it up to may attention and we decided to use the credit for firewood and loonies for the shower. The management drove around during the day and night making sure people were good/safe which makes you feel as part of family when you stay there. There was a rodeo in town that weekend, and the music was loud across the street which the owners could do nothing about till 1-2. This was rare but the staff were very apologetic as it was out of there control. This is why I give it a 4/5.
It is close to grocery stores, pharmacy, gas stations and liquor stores so everything is within walking distance. Night time is dark and quiet and very pleasant to be around.
I highly recommend staying here with the clean bathrooms/showers, amazing owners/staff that make you feel like family when you stay here.
Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable.

Rhonda was so friendly, responsive and accommodating to our schedule. We feel that she's running this campground to really take care of people and help them enjoy their vacation. The cabin was so clean and smelled so new that we thought it was built last year, but she told us it's been longer than that (the effort put into maintenance is obvious) . Thoughtful decor touches made the room feel cozy and welcoming. Great bed and linens. Bathroom building is a conveniently located separate structure nearby; it was spotless and the shower was great with lots of hot water. Quiet area for a peaceful sleep even though it's near the train tracks. Beautiful gift shop with so many pretty things to look at and reasonable prices.

Highly recommend!

This is a well laid out, extremely well kept property with all the amenities you need! The owners are friendly, quick to respond to every request, and work hard to make sure your stay is perfect! The park is quiet and relaxing. Did I mention how well maintained it is?

Bring your RV or there are some pretty sweet cabins for rent on site as well. Common/shared facilities are pristine!

This park is well situated, close to shopping, community center, and rodeo/agricultural center. It is a stopping place for the Alberta Prairie Railway, a great train ride adventure!

Rachon Beach and Provincial Park is a 15 minute ride away. Close enough to enjoy every day, but far enough away to avoid the busy!

Well worth spending some time here!
