I took my road test and passed, it was a fantastic experience. The registry office was great, and the road test officer was excellent. He was very friendly and, after the test, explained where I lost points and gave me tips for improvement. Highly recommended!

The staff were super friendly so I don’t want to rate poorly for the municipality’s method of marking their roadways, but I can’t recommend taking the test here if you’re from Calgary to save $50.

The lack of signage was confusing, and the small stretch of secondary provincial highway for the road test where the speed is 50 without a proper sign to indicate after turning onto it while the flow of traffic goes 80+ and your general understanding that roads outside urban areas that are unmarked should be 80 will lead to an autofail.

Besides the road test, the registry was an overall pleasant experience. And I did appreciate the examiner telling me what to work on for next time.
