Was looking for a second vehicle, came to renfrew from over an hour away because the prices look reasonable. On auto trader they advertised multiple vehicles I was interested in as safetied and ready to go. Found out quickly after arriving on lot that those prices were as is without having as safety done yet and they apologized for the wrong information. Prices were going to be 3-5k higher than advertised on a gamble because they may find work that needed to be done. I’ve bought multiple vehicles over the years from a few different dodge dealerships and never seen one run quite like this. Shop at your own risk here is the feeling I got, good luck.

Took my wife's Jeep Cherokee to Renfrew Chrysler for service last week, and I have to say this was by far the best dealership experience we've ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and introduced to Brian, our service rep. He was polite, professional, and actually seemed to want to make sure all went smoothly.

We had a few things going on: check engine light, noise in the front end, and the regular maintenance things, and Brian took the time to walk through each item with me in detail. He explained what they'd be checking for, what might need to be done, and how long it would take. I never once felt rushed or blown off, which is rare at dealerships today.

When the car was in the shop, Brian called me several times to give me status reports, which I appreciated very much. He explained the repairs in a way that I could understand and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. In fact, he even pointed out a couple of things that I thought needed fixing but did not, saved me some money there.

When I came to collect the car, the car was ready, clean, and everything was detailed in the paperwork. Brian reviewed the work that was completed, answered some additional questions I had without hesitation, and made sure I was completely satisfied with the process.

Honestly, I typically despise going to get cars serviced, but this was a different experience. It felt like Brian actually cared about doing a great job and making sure I was well taken care of. If you need to have work done on your car, ask for Brian. He was nice and made the whole process stress-free and easy. We will definitely be back.

Had my 5 yo 2019 RAM 1500 in for oil change and peace of mind inspection last week. Several serious concerns (brakes, rotors, tires) were diagnosed and I was able to come in this week and have the work done in projected time allotment and under budget!
Clearly the technicians were capable and competent, and I can’t say enough about how friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating the service counter staff (Chris and Kendall) were. Definitely a business you can trust!

I recently had visited Renfrew Chrylser a few weeks ago, and although Mikayla was quite helpful and very nice, I did not have a good experience with them in relation to communicating with me on whether I was approved for a loan or not. I drove to this dealership from Peterborough, Ontario which is about a good three hour drive. I was hoping to test drive a car that I was interested in, which I did do and then I wanted to secure some information regarding financing and whether I would be approved or not for a loan. After we had crunched some numbers, Brandon I believe that was his name. He as the manager sent my application off to see if I would be approved by any of the banks that their dealership worked with. After a few more hours, he had said that he hadn't heard anything back and that instead of myself, my dad, and my mom sitting there a while longer that we should just drive home, and I would be receiving a call from him with an update the following day. However, the following day came and I did not receive a call regarding my application for a loan with any updates. I assumed that he was busy and that he would call me back in another day or so. A week went by and I still hadn't heard anything, so I decided to call the dealership. When I called, I explained that I was supposed to hear back from him but didn't, and the lady who I spoke with proceeded to tell me that he was not in.

Fast forward, it has been a month, I believe, and I still had not or have not received any kind of communication regarding my visit with them and the application. My call was not returned and neither was my email. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service that I have experienced when it comes to trying to communicate with them in relation to a loan application, as I do not receive any call backs or any updates regarding my application. I know that they sent off my application because after checking my inquiries on my Equifax account, there were multiple places that my application had been sent off to. Now my credit score has also taken a hit from the several inquiries made but no communication regarding any of them! Updating customers should be a priority even if they aren't going to be approved for a loan, it is a common courtesy to communicate this with the customer, and let them know, so that we know how to move forward in the future for purchasing a vehicle. Unfortunately, I don't think that I will be returning to this dealership in the future to inquire about their vehicles, it was a waste of my time and day of travel from Peterborough and back.
