This place is old and has minimal upgrades. Exterior of building is in rough shape.
Room are old and dated. Worn out. Uncomfortable bed.
Not secure, no deadbolt only an old style chain, keyed door knob lock.
It’s a dump.

Rooms are hit or miss; moldy towels were stuffed beside the ac unit to keep it flush. The request to change rooms due to that was denied and a higher up needed to be contacted. Wallpaper is peeling, mold in the grout, bugs in some of the rooms, and if you're staying for longer than a night expect to have to take out your own garbage.
Nice trails nearby but overcharging for what you get, should be a $90/ night establishment.

Drove up and to this place and first thing I thought was ‘RUN’. Old, shabby, run down and definitely not a ‘hotel’ as advertised. Checking in was no better. No elevator, restaurant closed, AC so loud you couldn’t watch the TV let alone sleep. Paint peeling on single glazed windows, lumpy sofa bed, screw holes in walls from installation of wall board.

Lumpiest pillows ever and the mattress caved in, in the middle of the somewhat lumpy bed.|Restaurant wasn't open or operational |We were greeted by a little dog growling at us but they removed the dog.|No elevator so we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor.|Lots of road noise as it's on a major highway|Bathroom needs updating and caulking around the tub.|This is a very old hotel and not at all even close to the standards I would expect at a Sandman Hotel.|No breakfast or meals available. You must drive into town. This hotel is on the west side of the town and not walkable to town/restaurants.|One of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in.

It's a clean room and easy to find just off of the highway. The restaurant is closed for five years now. I guess covid got it.the front facing the highway is noisy from the truck traffic all night long. When they built this triple pane windows were not a thing so ask for a room in the backside if you're a light sleeper.

Service was not great. Stayed there for 10 days did not have the room cleaned out once. Had to go ask for some new towels as I ran out, as well as emptying my own garbage. When I first arrived there was hairs all over one of the pillows on one of the beds. Was put in a room with two double beds, one of the beds had a clear broken spot in the middle of the bed. Over all if service was better and I didn’t need to use the second bed it would have been an alright stay. I guess. But still better options in Princeton.
Now I know!
