Someone very close to me requested an exchange of $30 with of plumbing parts he purchased incorrectly last year and was in turn purchasing $400 worth of new products. Gary, the owner, refused to do the exchange, citing their 90 day return policy. I would understand if he wast trying to do a simple return, but this was an exchange. That’s really poor business and a very short cited policy.

The staff had an attitude when I questioned them about it. I will drive 1.5 hours to home Depot in Regina before I ever step foot back into this store

Nice store, appears to have good selection of a variety of products. Purchased some stain and was happy with the product. However, the 2 stars is mainly for the bad customer service received from the contractor desk. Went in twice within about a week, and talked to the same guy. Was looking for some guidance on building a deck and looking for prices on lumber and supplies: both times he told us we had to come up with our own ideas and to "go look online. We have no books or anything." When we were there the first time he did give some vague, ballpark numbers on lumber and composite decking, but nothing regarding specific supplies. And when we asked what they have in stock, he said "we have everything here. Everything is in stock." ? He seemed quite unwilling to put in any effort to help us out. I sent a complaint in through the website about our experiences and it was supposedly forwarded on, but I have received nothing in response from the local owner. I was quite ready to attribute this guys's poor customer service to a bad day or week; but its far more than that. Guess they make so much money from contractors, they feel they can dump on the little guy. We were quite ready to spend some good cash here but received far better service at another locally owned store and got all the info we needed.

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service of the gentleman who sits at the back of the store (I think his name is Gary) very undermining towards women and even the other staff agree. I said a few words to the ladies at the front cash about him and they agreed. This isn’t the first time we’ve had a negative experience with him. Gary has a bad attitude that needs to be corrected immediately.

The customer service is terrible. I liked the paint here but the people that work the counter couldn’t be bothered to help a person find what they are looking for. My guess is it starts with manager, if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for he does a great job of rolling his eyes. Shop somewhere else, there are better options in Estevan.

DOG FRIENDLY STORE!!! Best hardware store. Always has quality items at decent prices. Stock is available and if its not in store its a quick time to get it in. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I love do it yourself and the staff has lots of great suggestions for if you need help.

I'm impressed by the variety of products. How ever I'm very unimpressed by the customer service at home Depot Estevan. 6 ladies working there. All of them just chatting amoungst them selves. Offering zero help to anyone there. Then the scanner was dead and she had to input all the serial numbers by hand.
