Shaw provides genuinely one of the worst products for money I have seen in my life. The service they provide (if you can call it that) is a terrible joke. I have lived in this country for 16 years and I can say that the internet is the worst part of it by far.

Thinking about going with Shaw Cable. Don't.
I have always had ok service over the past 6 years, but really for $220 month for cable and internet thats $15,000.
I have been trying for weeks to set up my Shaw ID so that i have access to services they offer like Shaw go Wifi, and TV on the go.
Today after waiting multiple times for an agent on the phone and online chats I have finally been told that this is a National problem and they are working on it on the backend, but there is no expected date for it to be fixed.
The agent said to me, "that's the million dollar question" that is what made me think of the astronomical prices we pay for TV and internet, and if a service is not available why are we all paying for it?
If they dont know when it is going to be fixed why are they still advertising it?
And why am i paying $2700 a year for cable and internet..
Rant over, Telus is offering a 4k tv and $150 credit, why not switch today.

If your thinking of getting Shaw and may have to move, with in the 2 years of the contract being up, DON'T... We had to move to a community where Shaw don't have service, they are still charging $300 for a cancellation, even though we would of keeped the service. What a rip off.

Shaw wifi on the go is the worst ever in Quesnel. The worst!!!! The one spot its at is blocked by structures and everything. And when theres line of sight your far away. Seriiusly step it up. This is BS
