We received exceptional service this week from Shon’s bike shop and we were very grateful. My rear derailleur blew off on a ride in Nakusp and we were not optimistic about getting it fixed on short notice. Shon sourced one from Vancouver and had us back on the trails within 2 days. The invoice was more than reasonable. Thank you!

I stayed at Shon's Bike and Ski Hostel last night and I had such an amazing stay. The owners were all super nice, hospitable and extremely knowledgeable of the area. When I arrived in the hostel, it was immaculately clean and everything was brand new. The dorm bed was very comfertable, kitchen well stocked with all the cooking materials and the bathroom was spotless. I had such an awesome time and would highly recommend anyone passing through to come for a night or two or three. It's luxury living on a budget price.

Our party of 4 spent 1 night @Shon's Bike, Ski & Stay and it was the highlight of our Nakusp visit. Shon and Janice were top notch hosts; you can tell they take a lot of pride in their business. The space is immaculate, with a lovely kitchen and common area. Super comfy beds and very quiet at night when we were there. Could not ask for a better location in town. The next day, we even purchased some local sausage and eggs to bring home. ||Would definitely recommend and come back!

I stayed at Shon's Hostel while I was on a bike tour through the Kootenays this past September. Shon and Janice were awesome hosts as they took me in after a long day on the bike. The bike shop below the hostel has all the gear and service to to keep the bike going, and the Hostel above is the perfect retreat to unwind and rest up after a big day in the mountains. There is a great kitchen/social area and a number of rooms, all with comfy mattresses and really quiet at night. It's defiantly nicer then your average hostel and would fall into the category of Boutique hostel, with still reasonable prices. I'll look forward to returning again soon!

Theses guys were lifesavers. We pulled into Nakusp and all the hot springs accommodations, as well as other hotels were all booked. They gave us their one family room with private bathroom for my wife and me, our 2 year old and our 3 month old. The kids were a little noisy, for which we apologize, but the staff were phenomenal and the room was impeccably clean and perfect size. Thanks guys for a great stay for the whole family.

Dropped my bike off for a service. Shon was awesome to deal with had my bike back to me within and hour. I highly recommend dropping in if you’re in the area. Great shop awesome people.
