Wonderful experience with Rob at Stone City Woodworks. From the very beginning, to the delivery, which was approximately 4 weeks, I received nothing but professionalism. The workmanship was superlative. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and I have. Next items are end tables and a coffee table. Now back to saving lol. This is the only experience I've had with custom furniture, but it was worth every moment I waited.

Our experience with Rob and Mike at Stone City Woodworks was nothing short of adventurous . . . a winding road that had some potholes, yes, but a road that nonetheless led to what I can only describe as the nicest piece of furniture (if one can call a 100% custom basement bar a piece of furniture) my wife, Jen, and I, own.
Let me say that Rob and Mike are two of the most genuine, easy to get along with people we have ever met. From the first consultation in the basement, Jen and I knew this was going to work out well - and it most certainly did.
We had a couple issues along the way, such as an oversight that resulted in the bar frame not fitting through our basement door, and of course, COVID delays threw an even larger monkey wrench into the original time frame. However, through all the obstacles (some avoidable and some unavoidable), Rob and Mike remained steadfast in their commitment to deliver a showstopper of a creation.
Honestly, everyone who sees this bar winds up with their lower jaw on the floor. The combination of natural walnut, matte black bar frame and epoxy-laden live edge bar top, is stunning. The craftsmanship is spectacular, and the strategic use of epoxy highlights the creative genius that exists between this dynamic duo!
Jen and I felt as though we were part of the creative process the whole way, and when we needed a little guidance and advice at certain points when determining elements of the final product, Rob and Mike were there with smart, experienced advice that only enhanced the overall look of the bar. They even threw in a couple of wonderful "extras" before revealing the final piece, because of the setbacks that were primarily due to manufacturing delays, which were largely out of their hands.
Long story short, we are ecstatic with the final result - we marvel at their creation every time we sit at the bar - and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind, jaw-dropping, wood-centric creation.

From start to finish Rob, Mike and the Stone City team exceeded our expectations. When we purchased our home we knew that our dining room overlooking the lake would be a perfect setting for a spectacular live edge table. My wife, bless her soul, had some very clear ideas as to what she wanted but there was much work to be done to arrive at the final game plan. Thankfully, in Rob and Mike she found a couple of guys who she could work with in coming to decisions on the materials to be used, the base, the size, and the colors. We are 'over the moon' with the final product which will be a center piece in our home and at family gatherings for years to come. The Stone City team provided us with excellent communication, creativity, integrity and were fun to deal with. Highly recommended for custom woodworking!
I reached out to Stone City Woodworks to have a custom wrap-around beam mantle built for above my fireplace. I am very satisfied with both the final product and the service I received throughout the process. Chris and Mike came to my house to take measurements and carefully listened to what I wanted to achieve. I was a little anxious that the final product would not be exactly as I had imagined it but when Mike came with it to install it, I was amazed at how well they turned my vision into reality. Their skill is evident in the excellent craftsmanship. I felt well looked after during the whole process and it all came at a very fair price. I would recommend Stone City for any custom woodwork and furniture building that you may need!
