The best pharmacy in Strathmore! The pharmacists and staff are phenomenal!!! My husband and I have used Value Drug for both of our mothers and we are blown away by the service, being as it isn’t what we’ve personally experienced with our pharmacy services at several different pharmacy’s we’ve tried in town. The staff ant Value Drug pharmacy always go the extra mile and stay on top of things. They have brought things to our attention when they have noticed certain prescriptions may conflict, or any prescriptions that may be not covered. They are upfront and open, no surprises. They have also bent over backwards to accommodate getting a prescription done in a rush, and re-blister packing pills for conscience and ease, especially for our senior Mom’s. We are so grateful and thankful for such a competent and dedicated team and making things so easy for us as a family. We are grateful.

We really enjoy visiting Value Drug Mart when we hit downtown Strathmore. They aren't open too late, but if you catch them early enough in the afternoon/evening, it's really fun browsing their shelves for very unique finds. We've found a number of great Christmas gifts here. We've also received a couple flu and COVID vaccines at the pharmacy, and we were happy with the service provided. There is a Canada Post location at the back of the store, where I've picked up and dropped off packages and lettermail, and they are always efficient and friendly. This is a great, local option if you're doing some shopping in town and looking for something different.

Switched to this pharmacy 6 m ago. Great, quick and knowledgeable. Old pharmacy was continually giving only enough for a week and not having stuff filled. Haven’t had any issues with this team.

Had the best service today from the lady who helped us with Christmas cards.she is an Asset to this store. Wow what a store for Strathmore, no need to go to the big city, so many GIFT ideas here. Check it out.

The store front is always well kept and the staff are friendly, completely different story from the pharmacy. I've used the pharmacy a few times, but I've recently had move to a new store. The staff in the pharmacy are very unfriendly, even asking for something as simple as a multivitamin I'm always made to feel like I am inconveniencing them. I've never once had a smile but I am quite often greeted with a bad attitude. Due to these negative experiences, is why I moved to a new provider. The staff of the pharmacy could learn a lot from the girls out front in customer service, they know how to bring back repeat customers with a smile and friendly conversation.

This store is amazing. They have helped my Mom, husband and I in all of our needs . Pharmacists are awesome very patient with my Mom who won’t get or take anything without them recommending it . The young girl when Mom and I went in to get some things she was interested in their Burt’s Bee’s section she was wonderful with her I wish I knew her name I would recommend everyone to there . She actually stayed right with her the whole time and was so knowledgeable and pleasant . All of the staff are wonderful

The store side is great, however, the pharmacy side is extremely rude. I went to get eye drops for myself as I had contracted pink eye somewhere around town and was trying to get it treated before passing it to my newborn. Of course before going to the pharmacy I called my Dr and couldn't get in. So I go to the pharmacy to ask for the polysporin otc pink eye drops and it turns out they are on back order. So I ask the pharmacist what do I do? He says 'I guess go see a dr' in the most condescending tone. Thannnnnnnnks. I didn't think of that. I will stick to Shoppers as you can get a pharmacy consult there and I had no problem getting drops. I left in tears so frustrated and worried that I would pass it on to my baby. Thank you to FYI doctor and shoppers for being actually helpful. Pharmacists have been given more privileges to help people so it is such a shame to be looking for help just to be treated so rudely.
