Lovely local coffee shop with a wide selection of baked treats, bites to eat and delicious coffee. Absolutely in awe at the seasonal fall menu... Everything sounded so delicious. I settled on the campfire which did not disappoint. Breakfast sandwiches were great as was the pumpkin cheesecake loaf - so moist and way better than Starbucks. The coffee shop has a selection of soaps, flowers and pantry food available too. Highly recommend.

Great coffee ☕️ shop on Sylvan Lake. The ambiance is amazing especially having coffee and a pastry on the deck looking out over Sylvan Lake. The service was great and the staff friendly. The store was clean and well lit. The is a full service coffee shop with pastries, sandwiches, drinks and much more. Part of the shop is a gift store with lots of interesting things. My wife and I enjoyed our time here. The butter tart and panini were delicious. The cold drinks on a hot day were just the right thing. We definitely recommend coming here and will return again.

the 2nd floor patio is facing the lake, and they close at 9pm, if you come at the right time, you might be able to see the sunset.

Try this Montreal Meat panini. I like it.

They have 3 other locations (Stettler, Drumheller, Canmore) in Alberta and 4th one is opening in Red Deer (Sep 2024)

The coziest coffee shop! I especially love how festive their decorations are for the holidays! The food is decent, and the treats are always tasty. Along with the decor, they always have fun seasonal drinks to choose from.
My only complaint is that they don't have any in-house mugs. There's just something better about drinking a latte out of a ceramic cup!

There is lots of seating in doors and outside on the patio (with a view of the lake). They have a fun boutique upstairs with lots of trendy women's clothing & accessories, and there is a selection of bath/beauty/home products downstairs, along with some baby clothing.

Nice and clean place , Great front desk girls and so friendly. We have Lemonade strawberry mint drinks and was really good and we had pumpkin cake. Best quality in Sylvan lake

Sweet Home on the Lake, I understand and can appreciate the hardship and struggles of a running a business. However to use the compassion and kindness of the amazing people in Sylvan Lake to run to your aid cover to your financial struggles during the legal battles about the parking lot is beyond shady business.

While I do have sympathy and compassion towards the loss of your business and furthermore all of the jobs that will be lost, I must state that the direct result of this hardship has been caused solely by yourselves and the mis management of Sweet Home.

As you can see by the hundreds of thousands of dollars you raised with the insinuation that you were using the money to fight legal battles, you did have the support of this community to overcome the loss of a few parking stalls. While (in my opinion) it is was deceiving of you to then turn around and buy a building with that money instead, nonetheless, even through that you had the support and dedication of all the great people in our town and surrounding areas. This could have kept your business afloat and prosperous, if only you showed honesty, transparency, and demonstrated proper planning, financial responsibility and accountability. You didn't even live here but we all treated you as locals. "Support local" goes both ways, this is a sad realization of how that looks when it is not being reciprocated.

I feel that you all owe everyone in this great community a gigantic apology.....

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I would also stay clear of this and any other establishments that the owners are associated / affiliated with.

I recently visited Sweet Home on the Lake in Sylvan Lake, and it was a fantastic experience! The iced tea beverages were absolutely amazing, refreshing, and perfect for a sunny day by the lake. The atmosphere here is incredible, with great vibes that make you want to stay and relax for hours. The location is unbeatable, right on the lake, providing stunning views and a serene environment. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious drink and unwind by the water!

Nice local coffee shop. Staff was friendly. Clean and welcoming environment. This is a place you come to take your time and enjoy a bit of a slower pace. If you are looking for a fast in and out experience during peak hours, this is the wrong place.
